Indefinite Hiatus

((Okay, I feel the need to be up and front about this. I’ve just plain lost my muse. With the combination of school, and not really getting a lot for the efforts that I have tried as well as other factors, I just have lost the motivation to RP. I’m going to be putting this blog on an indefinite hiatus.))

((Maybe at a later date I will return with different muses and, well, more motivation, but for now I won’t be doing anything, or trying to do anything on this blog. I’ll perhaps come on to check on stuff. Maybe at a later date, this blog will be remodeled for whatever I choose down the road. But for now, and until further notice, I’m placing this blog on hiatus. “Look, I already said that I don’t hibernate. Some force has just prevented me from doing anything in ages. I assure you all, though, I’ve been around. Just haven’t been up to much.”

A brief sigh as she slouched in her seat, a puff of warm breath escaping her lips. It had really gotten cold around Gensokyo, so the undefined youkai had donned a long sleeved version of her black dress as well as a red scarf.

“Wonder what everyone else has been up to, though.”

A good idea, yes. The nun considered accompanying Nue, should Sanae decide to greet her ‘alien friend’ with glee - she wished to see this hilarious sight for herself. Modern humans appeared more cheerful than 1000 years ago, inciting a fair bit of curiousity within her mind - a youkai seeing the millenium worth of changes may not have the same sense of wonder as a former human sealed off for centuries.

“Go on right ahead. Allow me to accompany you too.” A half-serious suggestion, in all honesty. “And I’m sticking to that theory too, as neither of the Goddesses take the form of an adolescent human.” She felt they lacked understanding of a young, modern human’s mindset, as unfortunate as it would seem when living with one.

“…In any case, I feel like Sanae would benefit from socializing with Mamizou and the village’s own adolescents. Just a wild guess.” Mamizou already seemed acquainted with the Miko, the extent of which Ichirin didn’t know. At this point, their conversation may have altered its course by a slight amount away from its original intention; this failed to bother Ichirin.

Nue wouldn’t mind if Ichirin came to visit Sanae alongside her. She didn’t spend a lot of time with the nun, so the experience would definitely be fresh... though as for Sanae greeting the undefined youkai as an ‘alien friend’ would be... a little embarrassing, to say the least. 

“I certainly wouldn’t mind some company when I do venture up there, I’ll let you know ahead of time when I do go,” Nue spoke, smiling a little bit. “Hm... well, those two goddesses have been around for a long time, so they very well might have a little difficulty seeing some things from her point of view. I don’t really know, though.”

“Perhaps, it should do her well to spend time with humans her own age, and Mamizou could share some wisdom with her,” Nue wondered aloud. She knew that Sanae was one of the incident resolvers would dueled Mamizou back when the undefined youkai called her old friend over. Naturally the two could have shared some banter.

((Okay. Yeah, I’ve been lazy, I admit. Nue has not been doing much and I’d like to change that. If anyone would like an RP, I’m very willing to plot some stuff, so yeah.))

((And I just got the seventh Badge. Making progress and stuff. I can't seem to put this game down, luckily it is Thanksgiving break lol.))

((And I just beat the Gym in Laverre City. Had to rework my team a little and my Venusaur finally got a chance to shine.))

((Just after the Coumarine City Gym, here was the team on hand. Honestly that Gym was swept by Hawlucha though, I may have done a tad bit of overkill.))

((Whew. A lot happened today, my goodness. Arrived at Shalour City, beat the Gym and then I climbed the Tower of Mastery and got the Mega Ring and a Lucario. My Zorua evolved into a Zoroark, and my Ivysaur evolved into a Venusaur.))

((Currently just before the Cyllage Gyme. Here is how my current party looks. Not pictured is Fénix the Fletchinder because this is a Rock Gym coming up lol.))

Nue suddenly heard a short laugh. It was not loud or quite nor was it deep or high-pitched. It was a somewhat low laugh that seemed to echo on itself. There was something eerie about the laugh and from the sound of it, the owner was likely male. "Greetings." Said a silvery male voice which carried a devious tone. The thing was, it sounded as though whoever it was that had spoke was behind her. Yet when she turned around, nothing was there.

Nue froze up, her ears twitching slightly as she heard the sound of laughter. Gripping her trident, she didn’t move and continued to listen to the strange laughter, trying to pinpoint where it was coming from, and yet for some reason, she couldn’t find it. When the voice spoke, Nue spun around, thinking that it sounded from behind her, and yet there was nobody there. “Hello?” the youkai asked warily. 

“What do you want of me?” she asked. Well, it was probably better that she find out what the voice wanted.

Meta examined Nue’s new appearance, lightly smiling when Nue asked the question. “Why yes, we shall.” He said as they floated down. Though they were not heading directly to the street below. Instead, Meta would take Nue to the top of a building. “It would far too noticeable if we were to just head down to street level as is.” Meta said as he approached the door that would lead to the floor below. It came as no surprise to him that it was locked, though it was not like it would matter anyway. As he turned the doorknob, Meta used his ability to manipulate matter and energy to unlock the door. 

The first thing that caught his attention was that in the corner was a CCTV camera. Meta frowned and turned to Nue. “Wait a moment please.” He said with just the barest hint of annoyance as he extended a tendril the width of a strand of hair towards the camera. Upon contact, Meta was able to find directly where the data from the surveillance device was being sent and modify the priorly recorded data and the currently recording data so that upon review it would look as though the door was never opened. A moment later, he used his ability to cause the entire building to lose power by sending a surge of energy great enough to trip every last breaker and cut off any internal power supplies. All of this was accomplished in under ten microseconds after asking Nue to wait a moment and with his task now done, Meta turned back to Nue. “Now with that taken care of, I do believe it would be best if we take advantage of this building’s sudden loss of power to get to street level while everybody else is too busy scratching their heads to notice two strangers.”

The undefined youkai nodded her head and lightly began to float along down, following Meta. She did not want to draw too much attention from the people in the streets of London. Even though her disguise made her indistinguishable from a normal human, there was no point in having a disguise if she did things so very blatantly non-human like flying in a place that isn’t Gensokyo. “I agree, let’s try to head down in a more subtle manner,” the undefined youkai spoke. Nue followed Meta towards a door to the inside of a building, rather surprised that the door was open.

Upon being told to wait, the undefined youkai nodded and stood by, wondering what it was that Meta saw inside. A peek around the inside of the building, Nue tried to sight of what Meta was doing briefly before she was addressed again; Nue saw none of what Meta just did, only noticing that the lights had turned off.

There was a pause as Nue looked around at all of the lights and wondered what Meta did to the building before she turned her attention back to the eldritch being. “I don’t know what you did, but it gave us an opportunity to sneak by the people inside the building,” she spoke, tilting her head.  “Let’s get going, in that case.”

She had been practicing with one of the techniques that she had learned relatively recently, but so far had only used it to go to one location. Nue had not tried using it to go to other locations in the outside world, but it didn't hurt to try. She could go home whenever she wanted anyway. Today's attempt dropped her by the ocean, to which she simply sat on a rock and gazed out at the horizon for a good while, not paying attention to her surroundings. "The ocean is truly beautiful," she sighed.

Atago was not going to question this strange girl materializing in front of her. She’s seen enough strange things to not be phased by them anymore. Yet it wouldn’t stop her from being curious about something else… Leaning down, she gives one of Nue’s tentacle-wing things a little tug. “Are these real? What Class and Model are you?”

“Hmmm… well, you seem like you’re telling the truth, at least. You’re not an abyssal, so I have no reason to fight you. I can’t help you with your teleportation problem, though. My apologies, Miss Nue.”

“Don’t worry about it, my appearance alone is enough to incite questions in others.” The undefined youkai had nothing to gain from lying to the other woman, after all, so it was best she tell the truth. Nue thought also that if the woman in front of her told someone that she’d met a nue, no one would believe her. “I don’t believe I caught your name, miss? I gave you mine, so I believe it is fair for me to ask for yours.”

((So I just got Pokemon Y yesterday as well as a 2DS, so this is is the status of my team just before the Santalune Gym. I'm already loving the 3D-ness of Gen VI, yes yes.))

“I promise that I am not the sort of youkai that needs to hibernate during the winter time. That’s coming up so I assure you all that i don’t need to sleep during then. Lately, I’ve just been cooped up at the temple. Perhaps it’s because the weather is getting cold, and harvest season is about to end, but visitors at the temple have been increasing lately. Though this change in pace is nice, I get tired of staying in there. I’d like a chance to enjoy the fall time breeze, yeah?”

Magic Anon: "Winter cleaning": Blame it not being spring or blame Yukari messing around again, whatever you blame it would seem that Nue's clothing is infested with a thick layer of dust needing to be cleaned. Unfortunately this dust is proving difficult to clean, perhaps a magical item will help, like a witch's broom or a hashihime's tears. Duration: 48 hours."

“This looks like it will be an issue. Not changing clothes for two days sounds gross, but it looks like I have no choice here. Ah well. I’ll need to shower the second this wears off.” She’s feeling a tad too lazy to grab the items mentioned by the grayface.

So... If you so as much smell any fox on him... Heads will roll? We don't exactly know how good Narukami is in bed or not but for all you know that is what they want and keep him, indeed, as a nice toy or so for the ages. One has to love foxes for how some can be and it could work since you know how he does like his animals, maybe watch out, who knows when they strike.

“I know more about foxes than you might think, my best friend is a tanuki, after all. And yes, should I detect any trace of fox, there will be a fight. Makes me wonder just where these licentious foxes come from and where they go to look for Yu. Inaba, Gensokyo? Should shed some light on who they may be, certainly more likely to be two to four tailed?”
