Hildur Yeoman is a celebrated fashion designer in her home country - Iceland, where even Björk dresses in her creations. Hildurs main inspiration source is her grandmother, who used to be part of a biker group at one stage and was an icon of indepence. All her collections are part of stories about mysterious miracles and portray magical elements. She has an enormous amount of creativity with a very distinct style, which we will most definitely see more of in the future.

Andrea Maack is an Icelandic visual artist who initally created perfumes for a scented art exhibition, now they are a global brand. It is inspiring to see art go beyond what we expect it to be and cross the line with other mediums. The idea of a visual artist crafting something not-visible, is especially intriguing. Her public image seems to be an art in itself and I wonder if she is in the top league as one of the most followed people on instagram from Iceland.
