Neither of them had much time to respond. They'd been unaware, lost in their own little bubble. It had been a lazy day of ambling down cobbled paths to unknown cafes, daydreaming and meaningless chatter between the two. A rare moment of leisure in their otherwise hectic lives. Trust mother nature to mess things up.

The oncoming splatter came suddenly with a grey pigeon swooping down just a head above the older female. It had caught Taeyong's attention, who was more than aware of what was about to happen next as compared to the oblivious female. Within a split second, he circled an arm around her petite frame, tucking her head under his chin. He clenched his jaw, eyes shut in anticipation which eventually came in the form of white splatter across the back of his polo shirt, courtesy of the pigeon which had gotten away. "Your knight in not so shining armour." He chuckled.

It wasn't an ideal situation for him either but he'd managed to find a sort of amusement from her discomfort. Leave him to forget to bring an umbrella out even during the monsoon season. He had sought shelter in the Jung household amidst the stormy weather, drenched head to toe from running in the downpour. Soaked thoroughly, Soojung had pushed him into the bathroom, demanding that he was to take a nice warm bath, tossing in some of papa Jung's old clothes along with a fluffy towel. Hospitable as always, he concluded.

Fresh out of the shower, Taeyong dried himself off, wrapping the towel around his waist. He held up the articles of clothing Soojung had given him to wear. Either she was horrible at estimating or he'd grown into some sort of colossal giant in the time he'd been in the shower. In search of clothing he could actually fit into, he headed out of the steam-filled bathroom.

"Soojung?" He called out, before following after the muffled reply of "In here!", making his way towards the kitchen quietly. Approaching the female with her back facing him, preoccupied with making tea, he cleared his throat awkwardly; "Soojung." He repeated to get her attention. As she spun around to face him, he eyed her flustered expression, clearly more uncomfortable at his state of undress than he was. "You're blushing." He stated, smarmy grin spread across his lips.
