Why did I write this. This should've probably been a 2 parter, but I didn't wanna dedicate 2 posts to this nonsense. I hope you enjoyed the double feature I guess. Mr. Resetti isn't so scary as you get older.

I originally decided to draw about playing video games as a low-stakes practice and confidence boosting project. But I accidentally started drawing several Saturday Morning Cartoon-style gags stacked on top of each other and made a Plot (sorta). Oops.

I also spent too much time on these 3DS screens for them to be compressed to the point of near obscurity, so here they are in close up.

Toriel's car will remember that(?). This comic is about a lack of consequences.

The way Asgore hugs seems dangerous. This kills the baby. I kinda feel bad for him in spite of all the cringe and boundary violations, so I ended this on a nicer note. Almost makes you forget about the divorce. This comic is about consequences with a cause that no longer exists.

A video game about nostalgia. A series of bonus stuff for this comic.

A Little How to Comics Lesson

A little comics lesson I drew with a mouse a little over a year ago. Originally intended to just be notes to myself, but I decided to write it so it would help fellow comics makers out.

Sometimes I do this exercise of depicting things in as few lines as possible. Teaches you a lot about "what makes something look like something." I highly recommend it.

Ole McMuffet had a corporate restaurant.

I've had this oddly specific image of Muffet working at McDonalds in my head for nearly 10 years, but no reason to really draw about it. The plot to get there is Kris Deltarune committing manslaughter at the McDonalds, obviously. Any resemblance to real Health Inspectors is coincidental.

I broke my original post order plans to get this on time for Valentines Season cuz it's always Valentines Day somewhere. Enjoy more out of order jokes.

Someone out there's playing Health Inspector Simulator (badly).

(Do you guys also remember when McDonalds had Mario Party 3? The controllers were almost always busted, but it was pretty dope.)

Sorry I'm looking through my creature collector/speculative biology project and I drew a lot of neat stuff. There are probably some disjointed/unfinished notes that I wrote more cohesively somewhere else. Don't worry about those. I have a design bible that's like 100 pages long, but I won't get into that rn.

Any tips/experience for someone who wants to learn digital? Im more comfortable with drawing traditionally and when i try digital theres something thats missing....

I personally find that using brushes that have a bit of texture to them can really help out! Definitely experiment around to see what works best with you. When the brush is too perfect, it's easier to spot any natural imperfections that look fine otherwise. Adjusting brush stabilization to your needs is also good, just enough to smooth out any weird jitteriness that comes from digital, but not so much that if you try to some draw scratchy scribbles they start feeling too perfect.

I'd also recommend that if your preferred drawing apparatus feels too smooth, to get a screen cover that has some texture so your pen tip doesn't slip around too much. Bonus tip is to adjust your brush pressure to not need to press down too hard to get it to max thickness/opacity. Your wrists and fingers will thank you!
