It was just a normal day at the library. The skies are grey, and it is really quiet. Helena was just finished reading all about science and well, other science as all other books were all over the place.
1 was sitting on one of the books with his hands resting on his staff, bored as hell while ShadowSilver and 5 were napping, rolled up into a ball together under the opened book lying above them. 9 and the twins, 3 and 4 was just reading some medieval books for free time. 6 was drawing the symbols of the talisman. 7 paces back and forth, figuring out what to do. 2 was reading along with 9 and the twins, and 8... Was outside, stand look out until he gets bored and tired.
Helena walked into where 1 is, seeing her lover sitting, bored to death. The girl turned her head, curious of her tired elder stitchpunk lover. 1 thinks about all of his actions and his pushing safety to the other stitchpunks, and how harsh he was that he wanted everyone safe from.
"Hey, uhh... 1." She said to him.
1 looked at the black haired woman, give her a small smile before putting it back to his direction. The elder sighed.
Helena walked closer to him and asked "Uhh... Is everything okay?"
1 sighed again and mumbled "Yeah..."
Helena looks at him, still curious. 1 looks up at his love and asked quietly "What's going on with you?"
"Just finished reading something." Helena answered.
1 sighed, looking down. Helena looks at him sadly, walks over to him and sat on his lap and her head nestled in the crook of his neck, closing her eyes. 1 looks at her, sighing with his mouth closed, and resting his cheek on top of his lover's head.
"I'm sorry, dear..." 1 breathed. "I'm just tired..."
Helena sighs, and 1 placed his left hand on his lover's arm, stroking it up and down.
"Wanna head out?" Helena asked.
1 nods, deciding to take a walk with her. They got up and began walking their way out of the library. Just then ShadowSilver wakes up, seeing 1 and her best friend Helena walking together. She decided to catch up with them.
As ShadowSilver gets up on her feet, 5 wakes up and asked "ShadowSilver, what are you doing?"
"Catching up with 1 and Helena." She answered. "Wanna come?"
5 sighs and replied "Yeah, alright." The stitchpunk got up and stretched, but ended up breaking his back a little bit. 5 lets out a sigh in pain from his back. "Damn, my back!"
ShadowSilver begins walking out. 5 called out quietly "Wait! Shads, wait up!"
5 runs to her, and 9, 7, 2, and the twins looked over at the lovers walking out, wanting to catch up with the others. 6 looked over as well, but then got back to drawing.
"What are they up to?" 2 asked.
9 looked to the elder stitchpunk, and replied "...I have no clue. I'll catch up to them."
The young stitchpunk proceeds to catch up to ShadowSilver and 5. 7 follows him as well. 2 and the twins looked at each other, shrugged and decided to read another book while the other began walking out of the library, following 1 and Helena.

Outside of the library, 1 and Helena were just walking together, not knowing what to do completely.
Helena asks "... Is there something you need to talk about? Is there something wrong?"
1 sighs and replied "I don't know..."
Then they heard someone calling out to them.
"Hey!" ShadowSilver's voice called out for them.
"Wait up!" 9 called out, too.
1 and Helena looked behind them, 9 and the half of the others were catching up to them.
1 sighs in annoyance, couldn't believe the others deciding they want to follow him and his lover. Helena looks at him, curious at his annoyance towards the others.
As they caught up, panting for air, 7 asked them "The hell is going on?"
"We're just walking." Helena answered.
"Why did you all decided to follow us?" 1 asked.
"Well, I don't know." 5 managed to answer. "Probably you'd, uhh... Well, uh... Weren't being so hard on us lately about safety when we take an offensive."
1 sighs angerly, not wanting to start what he just went over with.
"Oh, boy." 7 sighs in annoyance, knowing something is going to happen. "Here we go with this shit again..."
"All I am trying is to keep everyone safe, and 9, and all of you are giving me a hard time, disrespecting me and not listen to what I say!" 1 says, trying not to argue with them.
"But you're not!" 9 argued. "Hiding is never going to work. We took an offensive of danger, and you're beginning this crap again?"
"Okay," 1 said, refusing to listen to him. "I don't here no bullcrap. All I know what's right is to keep everyone safe. None of your heroic venture is going to work from now on."
Helena looks at her angry lover, not knowing what is going on. She looks at 9, fed up with 1's safety rule.
"Don't be a smart ass, 1." He says to the elder. 1 turns to him, snapping.
"Guys!" 7 said, trying to get the boys not to argue. "Come on, let's not start this bullshit."
"Hey," 5 said to 7 as she looks at him. "at least we did what 9 suggested against danger, I mean, come the hell on! What with 1's crap that is-"
1 interrupts him by pulling him by the staff and questioned fiercely "All I know what's right is protecting everyone! Your pointless plans almost endangered as all!"
"Don't be a smart ass, 1." ShadowSilver said. 1 looks at her. "You ain't shit."
1 gave her the nasty look. ShadowSilver managed to say this "I mean if you had to protect us, the enemy would've found us and your ideas would've not worked."
1 quirked at the pink haired with confusion, and ShadowSilver places her hand on her arm, and mumbled "Well, in some cases... This maybe a little awkward for me, but, you know."
ShadowSilver chuckles awkwardly. 1 sighs, and Helena looks at him, and the elder looks at her back, his expression turns to sadness, feeling ashamed to argue in front of her.
"I mean, don't get me wrong." ShadowSilver said. "You've protected us, well..... Probably at sometime from danger. However, the enemy would still be coming."
Everyone looked at her weirded out. "....What do you mean?" 1 asked.
ShadowSilver scoffed and asked "You know EXACTLY what I mean. If the enemy would've found us, we-"
"We find another place to hide! DUH!" 1 finished for her. "I know what's right."
7 sighs through her mouth in irritation. "Guys." She says. "Come on! Let's cut the shit and forget about it."
"You know what? I might leave before it becomes hell." 5 says, beginning to leave. 7 sighs, and follows him. 9 did the same, anger still flows into him.
"Bullshit." He says quietly.
As everyone, except ShadowSilver left to the library, she and Helena looked at the elder stitchpunk, saddened that no one listened to him. Helena sighs and places her hand on 1's shoulder, giving him a pat twice. The elder looked at her with a sad look on his face, sighing in a deep voice. He wanted to even protect his lover.
"Look," ShadowSilver managed to say. They looked at the pink haired girl as she said "I'm... Sorry for all of this-"
"No, no, no..." 1 cuts her off. "I'm gonna go."
He begins walking back to the library, ashamed for his actions, trying everything to keep all of his people safe. No one would even listen to him, not even one bit. If only he'd tried, no one would.
ShadowSilver looks at her best friend. They looked saddened, and ShadowSilver patted Helena in the shoulder as she begins to follow 1 back to the library.
Helena looked down and thinked to herself. 1 wanted to protect everyone, even her, his love. She sighs, placing her hand on her chest, feeling the same way possibly to him, wanted to be protected form danger. Helena then started walking back to the library.

That night, everyone was asleep, except Helena and ShadowSilver as they sat together, thinking about earlier.
"ShadowSilver?" Helena says the pink haired girl's name. She looks at her, and Helena asked "... Wasn't 1 trying to protect us? Even though, it wasn't enough for everyone?"
ShadowSilver thinks for a moment, then answers "...Well.... Yes, but... Would've he protected you?"
Helena looks at her, knowing what she is saying.
ShadowSilver asks "... Would you want to be protect you? He loves you, right?"
Helena thought a bit. She begins to know 1 wanted to protect her, because... He loved her. "Yeah..." She answered to her.
ShadowSilver sighs, then gets up and says "Welp, I'm going to bed. Goodnight."
"Alright then, goodnight." Helena says. ShadowSilver leaves to find where 5 is to sleep with.
Helena gets up to find where 1 is sleeping. After she found him, she watches him sleep, watching his chest move up and down as he breathes. Helena thought about earlier again, sighing.
1 was trying to protect her. He wanted to protect her. This is making her think. Helena wanted to be protected by him. She wants... Him. She loved him. She couldn't take being endangered and alone.
Helena sighs again quietly, tears forming in her eyes. She walks over to her lover, and lies down on him, burying her face into his chest and covers her eyes, started crying into him softly, hugging him. Helena cannot take being alone, and she never will. It was heartbreaking for her. It would've broke her heart completely. She wanted 1 to protect her. She wanted him to hold her, console her.
1 begins to wake up as he heard his lover weeping, sad expression grew on his face. "My love?" He asks.
Helena looks up at him with tears running down her face. 1 asks "...Is everything alright?"
Helena sighs, voice cracking as she buries her face into the stitchpunk's chest and answered, voice cracking "...I know you wanted to protect everyone. I wanted you to protect me... I can't bring myself to be alone..."
Helena continued to sob. 1 sighs in a deep voice, wrapping his arms around her, bringing her close to him, comforting her. 1 strokes Helena's back, holding her and places his hand on her head, stroking her black hair.
"Shh..." He says softly in a deep voice, trying to calm Helena down. "It's alright... I promise to protect you. I'll keep safe, I promise you, my love..."
Helena sighs, nodding and her sobbing stopped. 1 then planted a kiss on top of her head, and sighs deep. He held Helena's head closer to his chest. She could hear the calming ticking of his heartbeat and his calming breathing, calming her down. Helena sighs and letting 1's warmth, his touch, his steady heartbeat, his breathing, and his love lull her to sleeping.
Just as Helena about to fall to sleep, 1 moves her hair away from her ear and whispers deeply to her "... I'll protect you, my angel."
And that is a promise he made to her...
Helena smiles at his words as they fell asleep, swears to protect each other.

I know this is SUPER DUPER short, but hey, I did my best trying to write this. I couldn't think of anything, so this is the best I did. So bear with me and try to appreciate my writing ^ _^'❤️❤️❤️
This is another gift for @helenajflowers because I... Thought this would make her day. Tbh, I really couldn't chose between 1 or 2 sensed she liked 2. I liked 1, so I decided like if I write a little fanfic to her shipping 1, that would've been fun :>. So yeah, ha ha XD. 5 X ShadowSilver, 9x7 is in there as well, but it wouldn't have to do with them, but hey, it's kinda fun X3. I'd thought she'd like it. And sorry if my writing is bad, I'm still trying, hehehehe:3 If so, I'd would've turned shitty. What y'all think? :D💚💚💚 I tried to keep Helena I -character as possible, so my b if it's bad 😅 Anyways, y'all enjoy :3
