i do but. I tend to be a bit selfish than others of my kind... I like to keep them to myself. of course, they are happy! But i prefer my possessions close and wrapped in my vines.

I really really like preds that use gravity to swallow their prey. Idk something about it is very hot.
Like, prey in mouth, then looking up and bonus points if they do that thing where they like, open their mouth while moving their head up so that the prey get pulled down in large gulps
Been thinking about preds that have constantly overtaxed guts, the stomach constantly processing the remains of their countless prey, because swallowing people whole and alive has warped their body's perception of hunger so much that the pred feels starved if not packed full...
Imagine, another prey added to the softening pile of meat in their stomach, bloated to the point that you could easily see the imprint of a curled-up body, stomach letting out lethargic gurgles and growls as it slooowly tries to drain all that sludge deeper into the pred's body.
The bubbling, sloshing, churning as they walk, the irritated whine of their stomach at the slightest disturbance, the bloat of their stomach visible through the pounds of fat they've amassed from selfishly gulping down others so their stomach is topped up with meat..
My week sucked and I absolutely had reason to be mad but Im just not really mad. That's good, by the way. Just wondering, why? I remember having a week like this and being super pissed. Idk!
Qaxi probably being generally unable to eat around others/ doesn't like being looked at by people (because of fear of judgement) is something I might wanna explore more. Like she doesn't like being looked at in general due to having such insecurities about what species she is and how humans tend to treat that species
And about the eating part she probably gets even more anxious because she knows her method of eating would be displeasing to others especially humans.
My characters (at least Qaxi and Helena) are defined in part by their relationship with humans in their world. Qaxi holds a respect for humans, but has very deep-seeded insecurity about the opinions they hold about her due to her species's role in history, and she also has to conflict with the hormonally driven craving/ hunger for them. She was raised in a nurturing environment (though, still a lab of sorts) but the humans around her at the time were extremely nice and thoughtful. She just feels like a monster because she knows how humans treat/ view her species.
Helena was raised in an extremely hostile environment, and was regularly treated like an object, or just a set of variables. She grew up abused, and barely considered "someone". She generally has a huge distaste in humans, and she considers them beneath her in many cases.
Just wanted to talk about Qaxi and Helena for a bit. The bugs aren't fleshed out enough yet, though. Schiloh and Brimsty.

Where is the art of prey who were actually successful in struggling enough to get the pred to regurgitate 'em?? I feel like if prey struggled enough in Qaxi's belly she would actually have to regurge them...
(that is... Assuming she doesn't just force them into her second stomach to digest... Normally this happens while she sleeps, involuntarily, but she can and will just force them into the second one if they are being too rowdy)
Since vore is in many cases tied to sexuality maybe there's a such thing as a vore friend zone where a pred has no desire to eat a prey despite them being perfectly good food because they like them as a friend

New Very Rough Idea I Just Had: Vore game like lob corp.
Your tasked with running Site Ammit, a facility specifically constructed to deal with "Predators". Predators are cryptozoological creatures capable of devouring and digesting humans. They vary wildly in size, shape, and characteristics, from completely normal looking women that can swallow a person whole, to monstrous organisms larger than a house. The one thing Predators all have in common is an insatiable desire to consume humans in particular.
At the start, your site has just been constructed. Its extremely bare bones since your funding comes from a handful of wealthy individuals with connections to supernatural or cryptozoological fields. Its little more than a handful of holding cells, a small laboratory, and living quarters for your staff.
In order to secure additional funding you'll have to complete contracts. Contracts are provided by governments or secretive organizations that have run into a Predator and want it taken care of. You'll have to organize and equip a team of field agents to track down and secure the Predator(s).
Once your team finds the Predator, killing it will grant a lump sum of cash. Capturing it alive is preferable, however, as you'll be given an annual budget based on the number of Predators you have contained. Non-lethal capture methods are more risky, of course, so you'll have to balance capturing your quarry with ensuring your field team isn't churned...
I'll probably write more about this later I can feel this becoming a New Obsession but I'm sleepy

So sleepy ... sure hope a huge predator doesn't swallow me whole while I'm asleep and I wake up to the sound of their broiling glorping stomach and the beating of their heart, to the sight of their pulsing stomach flesh, to the wetness of slimy fluids coating my body... that would be sooooo awful...

My much-smaller-than-me wife cuddling up with my leg, and resting her head on my belly, lying on my tail. Probably getting slimy but at least the body heat will keep them warm...
