If I post or reblog something talking about antisemitism in the diaspora and you decide to come in talking about how all Jews should just make Aliyah I will block you. I’ve said it before but I’ve gotten some new followers and so I guess I have to say it again.
You will have people that will go "they're silencing criticism of israel" and then when you look inside *their* criticism of Israel and its supporting; jews in Colorado being firebombed (yes, real thing a branch of SJP did recently), jews in the UK being stabbed for existing whilst jewish (yes, real thing a popular antizionist blog did recently), supporting synagogues in Australia being firebombed (yes, yet another real thing that happened on video) and harassing the survivors of the Bondi terrorist attack (yes, real thing reported in the news too), etc etc etc
Women who you don't like, or you don't politically align with, or who are horrible people, still have the right to see their rapists and abusers face justice and to have their voices heard.
This is a putrid attitude to have, BTW. Rape isn't a punishment for being a shit person. It is a violent and fundamental violation of the right to control over one's body. Excusing, dismissing it, or justifying it, just once, just a little, is a road to total dehumanisation. The worst, most evil person in the world would still never deserve to have it happen to them.
I'm viscerally reminded of the time some weirdo tried to get me involved in some stupid wank for a fandom I knew nothing about by telling me that the person who they were running a harassment campaign against was a "rape apologist" and that if I didn't join in their harassment campaign, I would be supporting rape.
Needless to say, as soon as I made it clear that I wasn't going to participate in suicide baiting anyone, let alone someone I had never met on the basis of fandom drama I'd never heard of, they pivoted to... wouldn't you know it, sending me rape threats. Because, you see, by not taking a stand against an alleged "rape apologist" I deserved to get raped. They weren't a rape apologist for literally advocating for rape, though, of course. They were only advocating bad people getting raped, after all... and as everyone knows, that doesn't count.
I remember a bit from, of all things, a Cracked.com article that said roughly "when a rapist is raped in prison, the score isn't 'rapist: 1, society: 1'. It's 'Rape: 2, Society 0'." If a (frequently edgelord-y) comedy site could get that, no one calling themselves progressive has any excuse.

the place I work at remodeled these split gendered restrooms into “inclusive restrooms” and never told us what they meant while construction was ongoing. I need you to know every atom of potential criticism or whining that could’ve happened disappeared when people found out this meant we got 10 fully separate private bathrooms with sinks inside. This is called a "superloo" and terfs are actively trying to steal this from you, in the UK they changed bathroom regulations to mean new buildings have to prioritise gendered toilets rather than build superloos.
This also upset a lot of architects and designers who like the superloos. They're also typically more like small rooms rather than having doors you can look under.
Always remember that it can be phrased as: "TERFs want you to be legally required to always have to hear and smell someone shitting through the eye of a needle in the cubicle next to you." i think one of the worst things the left wing internet ever did was push the idea that oppression is basically a virtue, and being oppressed is a sign of your morality. it has made it like…impossible for some of you to hold the idea that most people are privileged in some ways and oppressed in others. AND a lot of you seem to have it in your mind that terrible people cannot be oppressed, and that oppressed people cannot do terrible things, which is a dangerous rhetoric to hold imo.
I genuinely don't understand what's wrong with dieting. Having a normal BMI is healthy. Of course you can be a little bit overweight for many reasons and that's also okay, but 300+ lbs is just too much. (yeah, bmi can be a little bit inaccurate due to muscle mass, but if a person doesn't work out, no way their excess weight is something other than fat)
It's unhealthy and if something is unhealthy it's also can't be beautiful. It's just how attractivness works lol.
I don't support any kind of eating disorders, but as a part of society you should be productive to it and not a burden to health-care.

the thing about the widespread use of AI to cheat in higher education is that, in most industries, you've all just ensured that you're spending a lot of money on a piece of paper that doesn't mean anything anymore
because a college degree no longer tells anyone anything about your critical thinking or literacy skills or mastery of any particular material. you can now move through college completely untouched by any actual education
so employers will just shift to looking at experiences like internships to prove that you're capable of actually doing the work or applying the knowledge
and if you can't do unpaid internships and can't network your way into a job or whatever, then you can go fuck yourself
