  I feel like people never realize they’re in a library. [He whispered over a book he had held up to his nose]

            It's just outright rude to be that loud when people are trying to read and study.

  Political Science. Kinda hard to study if you haven’t been paying attention in class.

[He shrugged, sighing] 

What are you doing here?

[She raises an eyebrow]

            Yes, I can see how that would be a problem. 

[She motions to her book]

            Reading. Apparently, I'm the only who actually reads in the library.

  That might be true, I guess, but maybe it could be the setting for a little fun, too. I don’t know about you, but I’m about sick of studying for today.

[He moves, dragging his chair over beside her and sitting down in it backwards, grinning at her]

[She looks him up and down silently as he sits, before laughing and shaking her head]

            That's cute, Adam. What exactly were you studying for?

  [Adam’s been trying to study for something he’s probably going to fail anyway, although paying more attention to his music. When he hears Helena talk, he smirks, turning around to find she’s been sitting at the table behind him]

I know, right? Don’t the realize the library’s for making out?

[She sighs, closing her eyes, before turning to face Adam]

            For you, maybe. But for most, the library is a place for study and peace, not for people being complete and total fucking idiots.

[She is sitting in the library, quietly reading her book. She hears someone across the room talking loudly with their friends, and she shakes her head, muttering]

            I wonder if they realise they're in a library.
