Uh okay, I'm having this sudden urge to post something after long silence, so here's Renée, one of my best girls ever, in her sporty underwear (it was meant for Integrity Toys body but I made some mistakes with measurements so here we are, it's hers now).

I love her so much. She (Barbie Looks #12 'Fryda' by birth) seems to be the least favorite one from the whol metallic series among the doll community but I fell in love with her immediately after first promo pictures. She's so photogenic! I can just place her in this imprompru photozone (just a piece of artificial plant wall cover from AliExpress and piece of thrifted floor panel) and voilà, she's striking a pose! (BTW, I'm really lucky with her sturdy ankle joints, she has no problem standing on her own on a flat surface). She's a perfection!

Well. Here’s Stevie, upgraded (I hope).

It all started last November after I posted some photos of him on my Instagram. Some prog people appeared in comments confused what the f is this and why is it in their feed; one of them pointed out that the doll looks like JKR and boy oh boy I took this as an insult.

There was another thing I didn’t like: his previous hair was rooted too thick that it created some sort of weird helmet which also couldn’t lay flat without ungodly amount of hair product. I hesitated a lot because it’s my first ever doll repaint and I didn’t want to ruin by cutting and plucking off hair it but eventually time has come to give him some new style.

So I bought some brown saran hair online but it came too light, another strawberry blonde (I’ll use it for doll reroot eventually). Then I found the BMR1959 Tango head (her body is Stevie’s now) but her hair color was too warm. I almost quitted but then I realised that another body donor Barbie has the exact hair color I need. That was Made to Move yoga doll in green top and tie-dye leggings. Her hair was really amazing which is not so often with Mattel nowadays. 

Instead of rerooting, however, I glued the hair directly onto the head. I kept them thick (personal preference) but with strands so soft it’s easy to style and move them how I want. And I even made him sideburns!

So now I’m really happy with his look. Gotta make him some more T-shirts someday.

Stevie’s prototype (the one and only Steven Wilson) was birthday boy yesterday and that fact led to this spontaneous photoshoot with very festive handmade turtleneck and even more festive Bday cupcake :D The turtleneck itself was heavily inspired by the artwork of amazing innerforests, check these out!

I wrote some PWP in English for the first time in my life

So. Uhm. I wrote some fanfiction, and that’s first ever time I wrote something in English. And it’s a fanfic about Aviv Geffen and Steven Wilson (aka about Blackfield) with imaginary but solid presence of Gavin Harrison (since Porcupine Tree still existed at the time when Blackfield was created). And it’s shemeless smut and very very explicit content that includes dirty talk and fantasies! This text was not aimed to hurt anyone, just a filthy fantasies that at the end of the day have nothing to do with people involved, all of these events imaginary and is just my attempt in writing. It feels weird posting here after years of silence but anyways! Allow me to introduce you to Stevie. He’s my first ever OOAK doll! *hyperventilating* My initial idea was to create a doll that somehow resembles English musician and producer Steven Wilson. The result is... Since I’m not an artist and this is my first attempt to draw something on such a small face - I’m really proud of myself! Technical specs: I used Mattel live-action Cinderella head, modified (nose carved, jawline smoothed, lips thinned), on a made-to-move Barbie body (originally belonged to BMR1959 doll in pink windbreaker, chest flattened, calves shortened), hands made by MengF from Aliexpress, feet from Creatable World doll. Clothes made by myself, guitars are from Aliexpress, coach is also hand-made by yours truly.
