“You don’t need to say that like it’s such a terrible thing,” Rowan replied, leaning back in his chair. “I like monotony. I like routine. And if that happens to go hand in hand with - well, with it getting a little lonely out there at times, then so be it. Everything comes at a price anyhow; isolation doesn’t seem like a big one.”
“It might be a terrible thing to some.” He exhaled sharply, before shaking his head. “I just don’t get it. I honestly don’t.”
