A sin? I donât think you being in to guys is a sin but you kissing random guys is not really⌠appreciated.Â
You think youâre just a random guy? Oh, itâs never been random with us, Mako.
â What the fuck is wrong with you?
Some call it sin.
Okay this conversation is over. I have n idea who you are or what the hell youâre talking about.Â
Wait, come on, youâre being hasty. Iâm sorry, letâs just...
Excuse me?Â
I can show you how you like it.
Intimate moments? You clearly have the wrong guy.Â
I donât think so. I know your body quite well by now, Ian.
Iâm sorry do I know you?
Donât you? Here I thought our intimate moments were unforgettable.
Itâs good, but not quite what I was looking for.Â
Shame. It could be killer.
IâŚ. I think thatâs only a near-rhyme.Â
I think itâs perfect.
India sat on the bench by the lake, scribbling into her notebook. She bit the end of her pen as she looked down at her words, speaking quietly to herself. âWhat rhymes with acclimate?â
Decapitate.
âI wouldnât have said it if I wasnât. Â Clearly, I know youâre there so youâve lost the element of surprise. Â What do you want?â
I disagree. I donât need the element of surprise. Do I have to want something?
ââŚ..â
ââŚâŚ.If youâre trying to scare me, you can stop.  Itâs not going to workâŚ..â
ââŚâŚHello?â
...Are you sure?

Evan Peters as the Headless Horseman in âArt Of Elysiumâ (x)
& the night has come || john; romilly; stark; melinda
Romilly gives John a pointed look. âTheyâre on camp grounds, John. When they come this far from the woods - they want something and itâs never good.â She went to secure the windows went she felt John put a hand on her shoulder for her to look at him, and she did; with wide eyes that held determination in keeping John safe and fear for a repetition of what had happened with Mira once before. Romilly nodded curtly, hearing John in her mind. Licking dry lips, she watched John with hawk-like eyes, and kept her hearing open for any disturbances. She keeps herself in the hallway, guarding itÂ
What an awful game of hide and seek. She hears and her fists clench tightly, she didnât want to be sitting on the couching doing nothing, but she knew if she did anything more she would provoke the demons, even though she was almost positive they were going to make their way through the cabin now. Theyâre just trying to make it exciting for us. Romilly shakes her knee and chews on her tongue. She suddenly gets up from her spot and swiftly moves to the kitchen, opens a drawer and takes out two of the biggest knifes. Coming back to sit down beside John, she hands him one, and smiles softly. Covering our bases.Romilly didnât want John to have to use this as a weapon, she was going to be by his side the whole time when the demons came for them, but just in case, a little extra armour couldnât hurt anyone. She get an idea then, her eyes scanning the walls of the cabin - How thick to do thing these walls are? She asks, and gets on the ground and crawls to the nearest wall, she sets a hand on it and concentrates, flexing her fingers - the wood starts to creek and shift from the pressure of being bent and pulled. She didnât want the young male to fight for his life, so for the second time in her life she was going to make an extraction plan first before fighting. A small chunck of wood is taken from the cabin and she looks to John, nodding her head to bring him over.
Stark was nearing the cabin, finding the game of cat and mouse between the two demons and the two humans (essentially, and as far as he was concerned) quite amusing. âExciting.â He nods at Melindaâs words. âThey could try harder though.â A sinister chuckle finds its way passed his lips as he moves toward the cabin the two individualâs had chosen to lock themselves in. âRather cowardly to hide, isnât it?â He called out, speaking to them but not expecting them to provide an answer. Though the fun seemed to be over when Stark found that for whatever reason he could get as close to the cabin as he would have liked to. âThatâs a neat little trick.â He spoke in an unamused tone.
Figuring that one way to get passed this hurdle was to unleash his sin in the general proximity, particularly on John and Romilly, he did so. There would be no powers if someone wasnât feeling the energy required to control their powers, or do anything with them or anything else for that matter. âHow they underestimate us.â He turned to Melinda, shaking his head and running his tongue along his bottom lip. With that, he proceeded towards the cabin.
& the night has come || john; romilly; stark; melinda
âHey, kid, calm down. Itâs only me.â She chuckles and emerges from there dark, a smile on her face and clasps John on the shoulder, shaking him lightly as if she were defusing the nerves within him. âHas anyone told you yet how adorable you look when your eyes get all wide when youâre worried?â Her grin becomes wider now, show a bit of teeth as she jokes around with the younger male.Â
And then it was Romillyâs turn to become alert. Slow steps could be heard from behind the cabin coming towards them. The weight of the person made the gravel shift and crunch together. It sent a wave of tension through her muscles. In a second her smile was gone as she pressed her lips together, raised brows in ease where now furrowed together in thought. Maybe itâs only a guard. She wants to desperately believe this. âGo inside. Iâll meet you in there.â Romilly says under her breathe to John, and looks at him dead in the eye, her own orbs frosty and serious. She nods once, reassuring him and turns to slip away. She reaches around for her firearm that usually would be tucked between her spine and jeans but finding nothing there, she curses loudly in her mind and bites her tongue, forgetting that John is probably listening to her thoughts.
Then she sees them. Coming towards her. She doesnât know if sheâs been spotted or if John had been hunted but she immediately follows where John has went into the cabin. Romilly locks the door behind her and throws up a force field. âLock the windows. Now.â She quickly moves into the living room to follow her own orders.
Hearing that individualâs that were once on board with their plans had now decided to change their minds about the change ahead was certainly not something any of the demons liked to hear. It was for that reason that a visit to said individuals was needed, a visit that meant the company of Melinda. Oh, they could certainly do these things alone, however the intimidation that came from two demons was far superior to that of one. That was simple fact. Of course, there were many things that meant the task at hand being pushed back to a later time (though nonetheless being completed). Catching the sight of a young male was one of those things; an individual who was certainly ready to embrace Starkâs sin -- notable even by a simple glance. The decision to confront the male might well have been made prior to any worry that coursed through the female. However, after the fuss the two of them kicked up soon after they began approaching the two of them, Stark concurred that it was really not an event that either demon should miss. If they had not fled from the mere prospect of their presence, then perhaps Stark would have overlooked their presence, perhaps the two demons would have passed by without a second thought. Now, they were almost certainly the prey. Now the demons would get greedy.Â
âHow adorable,â The blond demon smirked, his dark orbs moving to fix on his companion. He was, of course, referencing the scene before them, the retreating to the nearest cabin in an instant of spotting them. Walking towards the cabin, his steps remained slow as if taunting them. For if they had locked themselves in a cabin, they surely had no way out. And certainly underestimated the power of the two demons. That was the worst thing for a human to do, really. âWhat an awful game of hide and seek.â He commented, amusement in his tone, ensuring that the two humans would be able to hear.
