𝚁𝚢ū is a Korean idol and member of the band 𝙽𝚎ø𝚗 𝚅𝚒𝚌𝚎. He is known for his deep voice and quiet intensity. His life could not be more extraordinary: he gets to live the life he always dreamed of; traveling the world, sharing his passion and making thousands of people worldwide smile. Beneath the spotlight, he is haunted by memories of a life he never lived — a love he cannot place, two faces that feel like 𝚑𝚘𝚖𝚎. Nothing ever made sense. But one night changes everything. A familiar gaze in a crowded club. A car crash that should have ended his life. Death came — but 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚘𝚗𝚎 bargained for him. Declared comatose in worldwide headlines, Ryū vanished from the public eye. When he returned, it was called a ‘miracle’. What no one knows is that he is no longer human. He vanished long enough to master the powers that came with survival, to learn how to live with what he had become — and the two souls beside him are the ones fate once tore from him, in another lifetime, only to return again. And suddenly, everything made sense. 𝙷𝚘𝚖𝚎. 𝙷𝚒𝚜 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚑𝚒𝚜 𝚜𝚘𝚞𝚕 𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖, 𝙰𝚟𝚎𝚗 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝙰𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚛, 𝚠𝚒𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚝 𝚑𝚎𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 — 𝚊 𝚋𝚘𝚗𝚍 𝚠𝚛𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚎𝚗 𝚒𝚗 𝚋𝚕𝚘𝚘𝚍, 𝚕𝚘𝚟𝚎, 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛.

Somewhere, long before I knew your name in this life, I think a part of me was always imagining you beside me. Even when I couldn’t remember why my heart longed for someone, it was always looking for you.
I went through death, through another life, through reincarnation itself, and somehow my soul still remembered yours. It found you before my mind ever could.
You have seen every side of me. The quiet parts that hide from the world, the loud and chaotic ones, the stubborn ones, the frightened ones, the strange little habits that make me… me. You have seen me at my strongest and at my weakest, and somehow, every single time, you chose me anyway. Not because I was perfect, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬.
You have this incredible way of seeing beauty where others don’t. You notice the colors I miss, the tiny details everyone else walks past. You remind me to slow down, to laugh louder, to appreciate the ordinary moments that become extraordinary simply because I get to share them with you. The world has always been beautiful, you just taught me how to see it. My favorite thing about you has always been your heart. The way you forgive. The way you choose kindness even when it would be easier not to. The way you make people feel safe simply by existing. You love so selflessly, and I hope you never forget how deeply you deserve to be loved in return.
Sometimes I still look at you and can’t quite believe you’re my wife. After everything our souls endured to find each other again, I still catch myself thinking, we made it. We found our way home.
Thank you for loving every version of me. Thank you for making me feel seen, understood, and unconditionally loved. Thank you for choosing me every single day.
I hope this birthday reminds you of what you mean to all of us, but especially to me. You are my best friend, my home, my greatest miracle, and the love my soul has searched for across lifetimes. 𝐈 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮, 𝐀𝐯𝐞𝐧. 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞.
𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐀𝐯𝐞𝐧.
I found you once. I will find you again. 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. @theforgottenmirror
𝟐𝟔 ⋆ 𝟎𝟔 ⋆ 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 — A date we had set months ago, yet it felt so far away. And now this day has finally arrived. 𝑻𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑰 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒔. The two people who taught me what it means to be truly seen, truly known and truly loved. Standing at the altar with you two, holding your hands as we exchange our vows, made me realize two things: First, that every path I walked, every choice I made, every ending and every beginning led me here, to this moment, to you. Second, this ceremony is not what makes us married. Marriage was never created in this specific moment, but in every quiet morning we woke up beside one another, in every laugh we shared, in all the up’s and down’s we encountered, in every promise we kept long before we stood here. 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒃𝒖𝒊𝒍𝒕 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒅, 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒑𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒊𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒆𝒔. 𝑺𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒔𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒔 𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒏𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒘𝒊𝒄𝒆.
This is not the start of our story, just another beautiful chapter of a love that has already lasted lifetimes. I found my way back to the love I thought I had lost, a love I never expected to find again. So these vows are not an introduction, they are a continuation of something that began long before this life, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒂 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒏 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒇𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒔.
𝑨𝒗𝒆𝒏, before this life, before this name, before this face, I knew you. My soul found yours long before I ever understood why my heart raced when you smiled at me or why your presence felt so familiar, so warm, and so welcoming. I remember how we first met on that beach, and how I wanted to protect you from this world; all the first times we encountered together, the new things I explained to you, and the way you always listened with that kind of curiosity that made everything feel new again. You never took this life for granted, and because of you, I stopped doing it, too. I saw the world differently, as if it had been quietly waiting for me to look at it through your eyes. You are one of those people who wears their heart on their sleeves, who would choose someone else’s happiness over their own without hesitation. You showed me that being gentle is a beautiful and rare gift, and that life is not something we should endure but something to meet with joy. You became my best friend, my partner in crime, my idiot twin in funny onesies. I remember each joke, each laugh, and each dance we shared — moments, that felt so small at the time, but now feel like the foundation of everything we are. I fell for you, slowly, and then all at once. Back then, I sang to you, promised to marry you. And standing here now, I am finally fulfilling the promise my heart made long before I understood what it meant. You are the quiet certainty in every version of my existence. You remind me that love does not end when a life does. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒈𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒂𝒅𝒆 𝒎𝒆 𝒂 𝒃𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏. I always envied your positivity and the way you see the world. Whenever I looked at you, I saw someone with the purest heart I have ever known. You did not just live in this world, you met it with openness, with kindness, as if every moment was something worth holding onto gently. You helped me see colors I have never seen before. You made me feel alive again. You became my home, before I even understood that I had been searching for one. Honestly, you gave me a reason to truly live again. I vow to cherish every ordinary moment with you, because I know how precious they are. I vow to make you laugh when the world feels heavy, to stand beside you no matter what, and to love every version of the person you become. I promise to never give up on us, to fight for what we have. I love you with every cell of me, with all that I am. 𝑰 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒏𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒅, 𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒑 𝒇𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒊𝒏 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖.
𝑨𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓, our love has already defied death. I loved you in the life I lived before this one. I loved you with another face, another voice, another name. And when that life ended, I thought our story had ended with it. But souls like ours refuse to stay buried. Somehow, impossibly, fate carried us back to one another. When I saw you again in your club, when our eyes finally met after years of absence, something ancient inside me stirred, as though the part of my soul that remembered whispered 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒂𝒓𝒆. You came back. Whenever you tell me the story of finding my soul again, I immediately get goosebumps. Just knowing you endured all those years in pain, and yet never stopped searching and hoping for me, there are no words strong enough for what that means to me. You have always seen me completely, even when I could not see myself. You have loved me through joy and grief, certainty and doubt, beginnings and endings. You held me when I panicked, when the world and my mind became too loud, wrapping your arms around me until I could breathe again. You were always the one who saved me from falling, and you endured endless nights being by my side when I nearly lost myself. You always noticed the storms in me before I ever spoke them aloud. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒏 but proof that we survived something. I still laugh about the times when I annoyed you by asking if you would still love me if I was a worm, not a normal worm, but a pink one, knowing how much you despise that color. I remember every date, every sleepless night, every laugh we shared, the moments you brought my light back before I ever noticed that it was gone. I vividly remember bullying each other, while you looked at me with so much love and warmth in your eyes, — the same love and warmth that still fills your eyes today —, knowing you would burn the world down before letting anyone hurt me. Alastor, you always give so much love. You carry your strength so effortlessly, even when you question whether you deserve it. But I need you to understand this clearly: I could not be luckier to have found you, and I will always catch you from falling, wrap my arms around you and show you that I see you, and that you are allowed to let yourself fall. Today, I promise that there will never again be a lifetime in which I willingly leave your side. I will meet your anger with patience, your fears with reassurance, and your dreams with unwavering faith. I will choose you as deliberately as I did the first time, and even more fiercely now that I know how easily life can be taken away. 𝑫𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒔𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒖𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒄𝒆. 𝑰𝒕 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏. 𝑰 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒏 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆, 𝒊𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒎𝒎𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒆𝒏𝒅. My heart belongs to you, as it has when I was still 𝒉𝒊𝒎.
This feels less like the begining of a story and more like its long-awaited continuation. After centuries, reincarnation, and the impossible miracle of finding my way back into this world, the greatest gift I have ever been given is that I found the two of you again. People say fate brings souls together. I think fate only opens the door. Love is what makes us walk through it, in every life we are lucky enough to live. Today is not just about the three of us, it is also about everyone who stood beside us, who believed in us, who supported us through every step of this journey, and who helped turn this day from a dream into reality. Looking around, I do not just see decorations. I see traces of every hand that shaped this moment, every late-night conversation, every act of care, every quiet reassurance, every bit of love that carried us here when we needed it most. I see friends who became family, and family who became our foundation. I see laughter woven into the flowers, patience built into every detail, and love resting in every corner of this place. None of this exists alone. It exists because all of you are part of it.
I am endlessly grateful for each and every one of you, for your time, your effort, your presence, and your hearts. And I cannot wait to stand here today, not only as someone getting married, but as someone surrounded by the people who made it possible to believe in this kind of love. The paper trembled. Not because of the warm Italian breeze drifting across the patio, but because my hands refused to stop shaking. I stared down at the wrinkled pages in my lap. I’d rewritten these vows more times than I could count; entire paragraphs had been crossed out, rewritten, crossed out again. How was I supposed to fit everything into a few pages? How was I supposed to put into words what Aven and Alastor meant to me?
𝑻𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚. 𝑻𝒐𝒅𝒂𝒚, 𝑰 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒓𝒚𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎. The thought alone made my heart race, and I couldn’t help but smile. I wasn’t nervous about saying yes, that had never been the question. Yet, I was terrified that the moment I looked at them standing at the altar, the moment my gaze met theirs, every carefully written word would disappear. In reality, I knew these words by heart. But I knew that the tears would win, and not only the paper would tremble, but my voice, too.
A knock sounded behind me and the balcony door slid open. “There you are,” Woo-Jin said with a grin. “We gotta get ready. The decoration is done, the location looks amazing. Everyone is in such a good mood and we are ready to celebrate you three. Now, get dressed!” I exhaled slowly, folding the pages together. “I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous.” “I know.” He stepped beside me, glancing at the vows before looking back at me. “They’re going to love them.” “I know”, I whispered. I knew they would love them, but no words in this world would be enough to declare my love for them. No words would do it justice.
He gave my shoulder a reassuring squeeze before speaking the words that made my heart race like crazy: “It’s time. Grab your suit, I will help you get ready. Someone is waiting at the altar for you.” I nodded, slipping the folded pages into the pocket of my shorts. Just as we turned to leave, Woo-Jin suddenly stopped. “Oh, almost forgot.” He reached into his belt bag, — had he been wearing that the whole time? I hadn’t noticed before — rummaged around for a second, then pulled out… a dinosaur-shaped chicken nugget. He held it out with complete seriousness. “For emotional support.” I stared at him. “…You are giving me a nugget?” “I’m giving the groom a nugget.” A laugh escaped me before I could stop it; the tension in my chest loosened instantly. All nervousness gone in an instant. “You are unbelievable.” “I know ,” Woo-Jin announced proudly while still smiling. I took the nugget and carefully took a bite while my best man nodded in approval. “Perfect. Now you’re ready.” Shaking my head, I followed him inside to get dressed. It was finally time. The moment I had been waiting for: 𝑰 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒔, 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓. A happy smile spread across my face. 𝑴𝒚 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆. 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒆. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓𝒔, 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚.

Make sure to give them a look! The concept is incredibly creative and very promising, and I’m excited to see where it goes.
