Saw The Odyssey earlier today and I genuinely think it’s one of the best movies I’ve ever seen, and that’s not an exaggeration. I likely will go see it again at some point just to soak everything in a second time. Highly, highly recommend if any of y’all are interested in it.
This is also another queued post, but today’s my birthday! I’m celebrating being 26 by being in a chilly Alaska, but I’ve had an absolute blast on this trip so far! Hope y’all have had a great week so far and I’ll be talking to y’all more when I get back home!
This post is being made in advance of the day it’s posted, mainly because I wanted to have it ready and not do it at the last minute. This post, though, is more than anything a huge thank-you. To all of you.
Six years ago on this day, I joined the Tumblr RPC with a character who, to my surprise, was more widely known than I thought: Charlie Barkin. I started out as a solo blog on this site for a few years, throwing him out at people, meeting tons of new people, and getting into the world of Tumblr roleplay. I never expected that I’d meet so many wonderful people along the way, but I am so happy I did.
At the time this account was made, COVID-19 was affecting the entire world. I hadn’t really left my house at that point since mid-March (around the time the pandemic was starting to spread), when I had come home for Spring Break from college. Safe to say, joining Tumblr gave me an escape from the crazy world at the time.
Six years later, I like to think I’m still going strong. Or as strong as I can be with a full-time job. So many of y’all have left an impact on my life, and again, I am so happy to have met and interacted with so many of y’all during my time here over the past six years. But above all else, I think turning that solo Charlie Barkin blog into the multimuse it is now was by far and away the best decision I made in the RPC.
Having a multimuse not only opened me up to new communities but also allowed me to introduce y’all to so many other characters I’ve loved over the years and hadn’t really had a chance to portray before then. And, of course, that just happened to lead to (arguably) my most popular muse being added: Death. Which has led to some crazy things with this blog (where I sometimes think Caden is coming for Death’s primary muse spot), but yeah.
I’ve never been the best at expressing my feelings in text, but again, I just want to say thank you to all of you. All of you are such wonderful, brilliant people, and I couldn’t be happier to call so many of you friends and mutuals. So yeah. Just crazy to think I’ve been here six years. Never would have expected that, but I couldn’t be happier that I have been here so long.
Thank y’all, genuinely, from the bottom of my heart.

I absolutely will be coming back after I'm home, but I obviously won't be getting to any writing until I get back from the trip.

I just realized, actually, has Satan even been given a canon sexuality yet? I don't think he's been in either of the recent Pride drops, which makes me think that he won't be given one. Which, I mean... that's fine with me. I fully expect to never see him again in either show, and he'll just be relegated to a merch drop here or there.
If he IS never given one, I like to think my Satan, at least, is probably Pansexual. I think he's similar to Death in that he doesn't really care that much about genders or anything. He's just here... vibing. And trying to smite people for breaking a stupid law from twenty years ago.
