Good morning y’all! At work again today and will be on mobile a lot of the day. I’m going to work some more on asks (and maybe drafts?) once I get home this afternoon and all. Hope y’all are having a good day so far and I’ll see y’all more this evening!

I was able to do a few asks today, but now it is time for me to start getting ready for bed. Hoping to work on some more stuff tomorrow after work, and also just try to do as many things as I can before I head out of town in two weeks, so I'll try to be more active during this time!

Viktor narrowed his one good eye her way for a moment or two. If it wasn't clear by how everything had been going before now, his glare certainly made his opinion known about this entire conversation that they were having. Viktor did at least... respect her thought about doing what it took to survive and doing what she had to, but... that didn't mean that they had to be fighting consistently over booze because one of the two of them couldn't seem to get any.

Viktor was aware that the Lackadaisy crew had the upper hand to some degree in that regard. They always seemed to come out in situations, but this time? This time, it seemed that two people who were a part of both crews, who were going after the same batch of booze, had to fight each other right here, right now. He didn't like the prospect that he had to fight Serafine (more so because he didn't want to deal with another fight), but...

If they really wanted to try and take the booze that the Lackadaisy crew had worked hard to track down? Viktor was going to ensure that they didn't get a single drop of it. And if that meant he had to take Serafine down with him. He would be more than happy to ensure that she didn't make it another step.

❝You do what takes to survive only to be... cut down at last moment,❞ he growled softly and he sneered her way, ❝You only care about how much alcohol you can take. We both know ot os lucritive business. But... you have no care about anyone other than your leader.❞

That was where the two seemed to vary the most. Viktor was one who still cared a lot about the Lackadaisy crew and he seemed to have a soft side that he didn't show that often in the grand scheme of things, but... at least he had that going for him when compared to Serafine.

But, again... he still had a job to do. And as he stood there glaring her down, he cocked the shotgun again that he held as he moved ever so slightly closer to the booze to start working, getting it loaded up to be taken back. And if she got in the way, well... he would rather this end quickly than it go on for too long.

❝So... tell me... do you wish to die for shipment of booze?❞ he asked with a small sneer, ❝Or would you like to live another day? I am happy to meet both requests...❞

Caden couldn't help but laugh just a bit at the comment. Not that it was ridiculous or anything like that, but more so at the thought that Pack Operatives would be the ones to underestimate him and not the other way around. He would have thought by now that the people who kept trying to come after him would have tried to be more sneaky or catch him by surprise, but yet... it seemed like they had never learned, and it always seemed like it was the same sort of attack each time.

Which worked to his favor in a way. And he was not about to complain about that.

And yet, he had learned quite a bit through all the combat he had done against them that they did seem to continue underestimating him. Whether it was from outdated data they had on Caden, or the sources they did get their info from were wrong, he didn't know. But it seemed that a lot of them completely misjudged how good Caden could be in a firefight or in close quarters. It seemed to be a mix of both, so he had learned how to get better at both types of situations when they inevitably came up.

And with how many times that had saved his life now, he would have said that was a good investment on his part.

❝I think ya' know better than most about me, Rayn, ya' really do,❞ he snickered with a shake of his head. It always seems that those Pack Operatives are wantin' to come after me and get rid of me for one reason or another. Guess a lot of it comes from Calderon not wanting to give up just yet on one of their prized possessions.❞

He sighed as he turned his head to look away for a moment, just thinking about everything that had led to this point and yet another battle that lay ahead of him. No matter what he did, he always seemed to get stuck in the middle of something...

❝Ya' know... I can't help but wonder what will happen when they eventually catch on to some of the things I've picked up on,❞ he remarked as he turned back to look her way and raised a small eyebrow, ❝I'm startin' to think I might need to train a bit more, wouldn't ya' think?❞

Bunnymund said nothing for a moment, but he did give North a look. A long, hard stare, more than anything else. He honestly just couldn't believe he had the words come from his mouth, considering this mission wasn't... really supposed to be a mission that ended up being lethal for either of them. Sure, they were having to take down a few bad guys who were causing havoc for holidays, or something along that line, Bunnymund wasn't sure himself, but it still didn't seem like that would be something that would, you know...

Lead to either of their demises.

But maybe, more than anything, this mission was just a way for North to get Bunnymund out on a mission? Because he hadn't been on one in a second, so he was feeling a little out of it (if he was honest), and yet... Bunnymund still didn't want to be here, and hearing that, even if that was the case as well. There was just a lot here that he didn't understand, and he was trying to figure out what exactly their plan was. The more he thought about it, trying to figure it out, though, the less he seemed to get about what Morth had been planning for all of this.

And that scared him, in a way. Because Bunnymund knew more than most that North was not afraid to throw caution to the wind. In fact, he would have said that North was, probably, one of the most reckless people he knew. And yet, despite all of that, he was still able to get results quite easily.

❝North, you know I respect you and a lot of the plans you have regarding the things we do, but, uh... I'd rather you not just throw things out there like that when we're about to try and fight someone,❞ he remarked with a confused face and shook his head. ❝I know you've been itchin' for a fight, but... c'mon, that wasn't the entire reason you dragged me out here, was it?❞

There was a good chance that had been the entire reason that Bunnymund was dragged out here. And, if it was? He was stuck here now. At least North was happy to be here and gave his... thanks? For having someone like Bunnymund at his side for it.

Not that it gave too much more confidence.

❝If you could at least explain to me what your plan is with all of this, that may be the best thing to do before we just charge in guns blazing,❞ he sighed, ❝Unless... that was your plan?❞

Going to work on some asks the next two hours before I go to bed and (hopefully) watch some more of the Clone Wars series, but Disney+ has decided it wants to say I'm finally not living in my household. Which I'm not, to be fair, but I'd rather not have to pay for an entire Disney+ account just to watch a show that my family already pays for...
