This is pretty much just fanservice, but I also wanted to show a possible way GranDracmon recruits Angels to the dark side since he's a evil fucking sexy vampire king. This Angemon was sent to investigate GranDracmon's castle, especially for his better efforts resisting the darkness. Upon arriving, he finds out the reason why other Angel-Type Digimon were victim to falling down...

GranDracmon's voice coated his heart all too sudden. Although Angemon was aware of the effects this had on others, all his preparation slipped through a crack and disappeared. He tried to stay on task, and yet temptation took over.

Grandracmon knows it's been a while since the Heavens sent down a member of the Angel Army. He's entertained to see how long he can keep an Angel holy before making them submit to darkness completely.

it is wild to me that people are shipping Grace with other Ryan Gosling characters when Carl is Right There.

The silly shopping sequence. The matching glasses. The walkie talkies. Building venus (planet of love!! Hello!!) together. The juicy betrayal at the end of their relationship, with the heartbreaking thought that Carl is devastated but knows it has to be this way for the good of all humanity. And worse, that he is complicit in baja blasting Grace to space.

We might not see it often, but one of my favorite underrated parts of the show is seeing characters interact with other kids' Digimon partners, especially when it's mundane, casual interaction.
