"technology and i don't really see eye to eye" he admitted with a chuckle. "i try to keep up to speed with it but it runs away with me and i'll admit, i do try the whole list thing but i've ended up accidentally deleting it more than i'd like to admit...it's all the time"

matrix chuckled a little and took the box but reached farther back, grabbing another box and holding it out towards him. "here, now we both have one cause i definitely don't need more than one for just myself." she never came shopping with a list but she did usually know what she wanted to eat for the week so it was a little easier for her to shop. "you know coming without an idea is how you end up spending more than you want."

"now you're just showing off" he commented with an awkward chuckle. why didn't he think of that? "thanks" he looked down at his basket that was filled with random items that were lucky if they could pull together to make a meal "you think i would've learned that by now but no. every time i make a list i lose it or completely ignore it."

"me? oh no you're asking the wrong guy, i live in town so i don't really know anyone who lives here." though he probably did because they are probably customers at the fun palace but asking someone where they live is just weird especially when they might've just met. "can you send it home with the kid next school day or do they need it back by tonight?"

"ahh okay, i think you're right." it was the easiest way to avoid losing the belongings "they did say they wanted the stuff back today but if they're not in i can't really return them" finn rummaged through his bag and found a notepad and pen, he scribbled down a note and put it through the letterbox "uh sorry, thanks for trying to help, i'm finn" he said, turning back to the guy holding his hand out.

"i didn't mean a trash bin but saying that out loud i realized i don't think i know what kind of bin i was talking about." vincent admitted with a chuckle. "neighbor might be a good idea if you don't want to come back but then you rely on the neighbor being here too."

"oh...right...yeah" he answered with an awkward chuckle of his own and muttering a 'stupid finn' under his breath. "i'll be honest with you, i have no clue who the neighbours are or if they'd even bother taking the stuff in for them. do you know them?"

she liked to do as little grocery shopping as possible, frankly she liked to do anything out of the house as little as possible if it wasn't work related and if it wasn't for work she might not even leave most the time. usually matrix got enough for a week of food and that's what she was doing today, pushing her cart between the aisles trying to think of what looked good for dinner that night. when she decided on what, she reached for the box unknowingly at the same time as someone else which made her retract her hand. "sorry, you can take it."

reed wasn't necessarily the greatest at remembering to restock his fridge and cupboards, that revelation was once again revealed to him when he opened both of them to find them bare. now he was in the supermarket trying to think of what he needed - which was everything. lost in his thoughts of trying to figure out dinner he reached for a box to bump hands "no, it's all good. you were there first. i don't even know what i'm buying if i'm being honest"

"Hey, yeah, I can squeeze you in for a service," Jesse said, flinging his oil rag over his shoulder as he approached Dex and his car. "Nice ride," he said approvingly. "Looks like you take care of it pretty well. Must mean a lot, huh?"

"thanks man, the thing has been screaming at me to bring it in" he said, tapping his hand on the car "yeah, you could say it's an heirloom of sort. i inherited it from my grandfather and built it up from an old rust bucket but it was a nightmare. i'm happy to leave it to the professionals now"

xavier already had a shovel in hand because he's learned to keep one for his walk arounds, mostly due to alejandro but there was the few times he needed to help a wild animal crawl out. they weren't even supposed to keep holes like this open but in the winter it was a bit harder to work fast. "i could, if you were sleeping in a place where people are supposed to nap." they answered, grabbing a shovel half full of dirt and throwing it over his legs. "get out, i don't care if i'm being mean you're being annoying."

he wouldn't put it past him to drive xavier mad one day that he would earn himself a smack with the shovel but today is yet to be that day. stretching out in the dirt like a lazy cat on a sunny windowsill "technically the people are napping, they just don't wake up and go for their eternal snooze." alejandro kicked the dirt from his legs "you being mean and me being annoying go hand in hand, xavier. you complete me" he pouted, drawing a heart with his fingertips

dabi didn't participate in the yoga class, instead showed up after it was already done but he still stole a few looks to see how it all was in there. it looked peaceful. "so why yoga? what's it do for you?" he asked the instructor curiously now.

"well other than the physical health benefits for your body, it has mental health benefits. it clears your mind to provide mental clarity and calms the soul." he answered, chatting away "it's also known to help boost your mood and help with brain functions like decision making, memory, reaction time and more."

vincent was only walking through when he was asked a question, pausing to look at the trailer. "uuuuh," he had to think about who even lived there and if he knew them but ended up shaking his head, "no sorry i have no idea. maybe they have a bin around the corner you can drop it into?"

"they said they'd be home" finn sighed and leaned against the trailer, hoping that a resolution would miraculously reveal itself. "hmm, maybe but that feels rude" he answered, internally wrestling with his dilemma. "i guess i'll need to see if i can leave with a neighbour or try again later"

xavier was used to alejandro's antics but that didn't make them any less annoying. he'd finished digging not that long ago and was walking past it, pausing when he thought he saw something (more so someone) which made him back track. "seriously? i will throw dirt on you this time if you don't get up. why do you do this?"

alejandro groaned "can't you just let a guy have a little nap?" there were a few reasons why he was always pulling this stunt, the first few times was down to him being drunk and falling in, then opting to sleep it off until xavier would rudely awaken him. the other reasons were that he knew it annoyed the shit out of xavier and he was always just buzzed enough to not question why he did it. "you're always so mean to me"

channel 9 had become his home away from home. after moving from england, he had settled in greenview and landed a host role for the tv station. he enjoyed the role, a big fish in a small pond, the new guy with the fancy english accent.

dexter was reviewing his notes for his broadcast later when he saw the bosses son walk in. "hey timothy, how's things? your dad should be finishing up in a meeting if you're looking for him"

dexter pulled into the garage and climbed out his car, looking to see if he could find a mechanic to have a check at his beloved car.

"hey, how are you? do you have some time available to have a check over my car? it needs a service and i think the shocks might need a look at"
