Wednesday 1/8

woke up, took Swiss and Ani into school, went to work. only had one shift so 8:30 to 12, then sat in my car until mom called me back to give me her coffee order (she didn't end up wanting anything so) then went to the Dr's office for my 1:30 appt except I was an hour early because it was actually a 2:30 appt. I was there for a med consultation and I ended up getting them prescribed - yay! went home, crocheted, took the dog for a walk, read my book, then had dinner and took the compost out.

Tuesday 1/7

woke up earlier than usual. took Swiss and Ani in to school, stopped at the grocery store to get a couple of drinks for the day ahead, then did another double at work. very boring, had a grand total of 5 people in the pools for a bit. got told I was too young to know Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. home for dinner and I think I'm going to call it an early night

woke up, went in to work. had a full day today (8:30-4). got a tangerine/blood orange lotus - pretty yummy. came home, hung around, went to bed. work is boring

told mom about breakup. told bestie about breakup. did some retail therapy with Swiss - bought a new hoodie, because I don't think I'm ever getting mine back, then shared a Cinnabon (first time - they are huge) and went to Macy's to try on prom dresses for shits and giggles.

saturyay (1/4)

woke up, went skiing - the mountain was packed because it was a nice powder day, so the lines were insane. we went home early around noon, then basically hung out. sisters went sledding with sirius, Swiss baked a cake (chocolate) and then I played D&D with B and a couple new players :)

broke up with Cy. cried with Ria about it.

yesterday 1/3

woke up at 2am, got home at 4am - see previous post for context. dozed in and out of consciousness until about 7:30

woke up fully, was NOT excited for work. went to work, realized my favorite lead guard was there, got a little more excited for work. work was fine, alternated between busy and not busy. I got my first incident!!! we had a patron having a seizure in the lobby and my lead and I responded so that was pretty cool. work after was boring, got a drink at a coffee place nearby on my break, then saw Style bc she was in town for the MiM trip and I picked up her suitcase. went home, we played Sabotage (finally), had dinner, and I went to bed

happy thursday

woke up not late for work, went to work, did work. came home, did therapy, cried, took the dog for a walk, then went to target for some retail therapy/looking for the new blogilates collection. couldn't find a matching set in my size, let alone in a color I liked, so ended up going with a different brand that I found out doesn't have pockets when I got home. may return it but we'll see, I love the look and feel other than the no pockets thing. also bought black sweatpants. went to bed early because I had to get up at 2am to take Cy to the train station (hence why I'm writing this af 4am)

back on my bullshit baby

I had to work at 8:45 this morning FML. slept through my alarm, woke up at 8 (when I had to leave) then basically ran out the door, road was a shitshow but I made it only 6 minutes late so p happy about that. work was fine, told supervisor about the guard who doesn't follow proper post-stand protocol (in vague terms). came back, said hi to Ria and ♦️ when they got back from skiing, then just kinda hung out all afternoon. had microwave raclette for dinner then Ria, ♦️, Swisster and Ani and I all went night skiing. pretty fun day but I have to work again tomorrow so 🫠

well, well, well. look who crawled out of her hole again.

this is post-spring break, I didn't do much over spring break except hang out with my family, ski, and hang out with my dog.

woke up, did not want to get out of bed because that meant I had to leave home. got up, got a text from my ride pushing our departure time back 1.5 hours (from noon to 10:30), then packed and got ready to leave. cuddled with my mom, dog, and A, then left. met T at her house, drove back, and did some minor studying and prep for Monday's classes. 3/10 day overall

2/27

as mentioned, was hard to fall asleep thanks to D studying. got up, got ready, went out to the caf for breakfast. got a text from my mom asking if I wanted a coffee, so I said sure (because who rejects a free starbucks? not me) and got to start my day with a 30 minute walk to and from the nearest Starbucks and a coffee (iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso). did some homework, went to polsci, ate lunch, went to the dorm, relaxed. went to chem lab (short and sweet, yay!), went to the business office to get a tax form, ate dinner, called my mom to thank her and tell her that the coffee made my day. went back to the dorm, then went to second dinner with Sy and T. came back to the room, did yoga with M, then chatted until like 10:30 and realized I had to get to bed so we said goodbye. got ready for bed + went to bed.

2/26

I did my best to actually get to bed at a reasonable time but I think I'm becoming immune to the asmr videos I use to fall asleep so I might need to take a break from them

woke up, ate breakfast, went to chem. hung out in the main building doing my prelab, then played sudoku and went back to my dorm. kept working through my math homework, then had lunch and went to stats. bio was canceled so I went back to the dorm and worked on some government paperwork for school and then went to philosophy. my professor literally turned on Dead Poets Society and said "I'll be back before the end of class" and left lmao. went to the dorm to finish the government shit, then ate dinner and came back to the dorm. got frustrated at the math homework, went to the gym, then came back and watched YouTube before bed. also started the khan academy health and medicine course for funsies. D stayed over but decided to be up until midnight studying for his psych test so I had to talk to T about that this morning

today has been great

woke up at 6:30, changed for the gym, then decided to check the hours of the gym because I could see the lights were off from my window and turns our it was not in fact open. so not great start to the day. went back to the room, changed, went to breakfast, and decided the plan for the rest of the day. went on a hot girl walk to a bakery (about a mile one way, not too bad) and got myself a London fog and a pastry. came back, decided to let myself rot for a bit, then had C come over and we worked on the weekly questions for bio. made oatmeal, then decided to film my Sunday reset (apparently a thing I'm doing now) and did the reset. stopped halfway through to eat my oatmeal and then M called to do yoga so I went and did yoga then did my workout. came back, made and ate ramen for dinner, then finished my reset. showered, cut my bangs, did my skincare, thought it was time for bed (it was only 7:30) so I watched studytubers until about 9 and then got ready for bed. hoping to go to bed early-ish tonight so I can have a better morning (and not sleep through my alarm)

saturdayyyy

let myself stay up late last night finishing the hobbit (finally), then slept in. woke up, panicked because I hadn't finished my chem homework and it resulted in a deduction of my grade (oh well), ate lunch, then kinda puttered around. went to a different building to finish said homework and do some flashcards, then to dinner (it was not great steak and also there was a big family???) then came back to T vacuuming and helped her finish up. watched ready player one, then went to bed early because I wanted to get up and go to the gym and also T had to be up at 6:30 for a thing

friyay except not really. woke up to T's alarm, panicked because it was 8am and I slept through my 6:30 alarm, resigned myself to missing chem (it's hard to come in late because the doors are in the front of the room), felt bad for myself. looked at the lecture slides and the textbook to make myself feel better, then ate lunch and went to stats. came back, worked on chem homework and the chapter 5 reading for stats and did flashcards. played dnd with B for the first time in a while, then went to the gym and bed.

M's birthday!!! called her to say happy birthday, then got ready for class. day 2 of regions of the world, this time focusing on South Asia. went to lunch, then came back to the dorm and let myself take a rest day bc I've been studying so much for bio. went to work - had to serve for 2 hours but met the new girl (we have the same name, but she's in her mid 30s (?) and a mom) and then got to sit at the card swiper and "study" aka read my immunology book. also during this 2 hour period M called so I could watch her open my presents (a Messier 42 shirt and a mini wacky inflatable tube guy) came back, laid on the floor, went to bed

test day! woke up, breakfast, chem. almost made tea in the dorm, then got scared because I thought it was too loud (T has since assured me that's not the case, will attempt again). went back to the dorm, meant to do some last minute revision/studying, never did. went to stats (minilab) then to bio. walked out after 20 minutes, that was the easiest test I've ever taken (yay studying!). waited for C, then went to philosophy. never did the question assignment - oh well, it's only a couple points. dinner, then dorm for homework and the gym (I hate going at 8pm but I can't go in between chem and stats because I don't want to be stinky or wet for stats and I can't go after philosophy because I'm right next to the cafeteria and I'm hungry and I can't go after I eat because I'm full). came back, went to bed way too late

woke up, went to polsci. we had a quiz (85 - not bad) and finished the final draft of our letter from an ngo. hung out, did prelab, then went to chem. lab was fine, my prof wanted us to stay after experimentation to run through the calculations, which I did and then submitted my postlab (it was very relieving not to have it hanging over me for the rest of the week - a lesson to be learned?). went to dinner, then did yoga with M. did some homework and studied for bio, then went to bed
