DIOR HOMME DAN WITZ MOSHPIT TIE
DIOR FW 2017 DAN WITZ “MOSH PIT” COLLABORATION firsttimesworldwide: Dior Homme’s Fall/Winter 2017 collection, under the creative direction of Kris Van Assche, featured a striking collaboration with Brooklyn-based artist Dan Witz. Known for his hyperrealistic “Mosh Pit” series, Witz’s artwork—depicting the chaotic energy of punk concert crowds—was seamlessly integrated into the collection. These vivid images adorned a range of garments and accessories, including jackets, trousers, capes, backpacks, and sneakers, infusing the pieces with a raw, anarchic spirit. Van Assche, a collector of Witz’s work, initiated the partnership, which bridged the realms of fine art and high fashion, bringing an underground edge to Dior’s menswear line.

with context:
Made in Pakistan is a personal collection that reflects my own experiences with child labor. I began working in production factories in Pakistan at the age of ten. This collection is a portrayal of the pain and trauma that were constant companions during my early years. Through this collection, I express these intense emotions and share a part of my journey from a child laborer to a designer.
