Zelda raised her brow and rolled up her sleeve. “Is that so?” Zelda wondered before drawing back her fist and punching River across the face. Piper making a encouraging praise. “Lets get something straight here..I just found the woman I wanted to be with my entire life again… and I am not giving her up for a jealous ex girlfriend hunter who’s going to get everyone killed.

“Well I think this is all well and settled. I think we should be going now.” Victoria said very quickly grabbing Felicia’s wrist and tugging her over. But Gomez appeared behind the two and clapped a hand on Victoria’s shoulder. “Nonsense!” He bellowed. “This is the first time in a long time the whole Salvator family has been together! Stay a while. I’m sure you’re little sister could use the company!” Victoria looked rather pale and didn’t like the idea at all. Zelda rolled her eyes and looked to Missy.

River hissed when she was punched before standing up and punching the witch back in the face just as hard “I never said I wouldn’t hurt you, just that I wouldn’t kill you...” The hunter snapped at her. “It’s not me that will get everyone killed, but your stupidity...” she said simply, then looking to Missy who simply looked pale and defeated “We’re always going to be out there waiting for you Missy, I know full well you work better with us as Banshees need groups....It’s why you felt so at peace with Me, Clara and Brandy...We were the group you required, just think on that, I’m still working to protect the three of you as promised. Well five if we include the girls too” Felica looked at Victoria in anger “And since when did you have authority?” she then paused when her father appeared, ignoring all her decorum and throwing her arms around him “Daddy!” she beamed, actually being happy for once. Missy was oddly silent, her eyes distant, lost in her own mind as everything rushed before her, River slowly kneeling down and looking her eyes over “Ugh, she does this, goes into herself when it all becomes too much, stops her head exploding...” she sighed, taking out a little flashlight and studying her eyes.

I swear, I’m going to rip out your-“ Victoria stopped mid sentence, seeing Felicia staring at their father, and her father glancing at her Mother who was hiding from the group. She froze stiff as a bored. Zelda brushed off the dirt from her shoulder and slowly stood up. “Well if you think I’m going to thank you for bringing me back from hell.. I’m not…” She snapped.

“I’m the best for her....Me and my girls, Clara and Brandy. This red head hasn’t bothered with Missy for years and years, I have a child with your sister so cut me some damn clack banshee, besides you were nothing but a bully to her when she was young so get off your high horse!” She added, then looking and spotting Gomez herself and giving a gasp, the shadow man, one of the ones that every hunter had strived to catch. “I don’t want you to thank me, I did this for the woman I love and not at all for you, I wish you could have died....But I won’t hurt Missy”

Victoria hissed at the Hunter. “Still causing problems for my sister I see..” she hissed darkly looking up seeing her father standing distantly from the group. He wasn’t a Banshee which is why it suprised her.

“What are you doing..” Piper said watching River closely.

“Oh please....” River snapped at Victoria “And when have you ever been family to her...” The blonde grumbled as she relaxed her hands on Zelda feeling sick to the stomach that she was actually helping the witch. Felicia immediately perked up when she noted their father, having not seen him in so long that she wanted to whimper. River looked to the halfbreed and sighed “Giving a life...” she said simply “Casting away one of my regenerations for her life...”

“See it that you do..” Evie warned. “Because I don’t give second chances.” She said snapping her fingers and about twenty men emerged from the woods around them. “And I want you in my office by the end of the day..” she said before turning around and disappearing into the woods with the other hunters.

Zelda was shot in three places, her stomach her chest and the other had just grazed her cheek. She had little life left in her and she used whatever she had left to grip onto Missy, even if her grip was very weak.

A shadow formed behind Missy, it was Victoria. Hearing her call for distress.She immediately knelt down beside her sister and pulled her into her arms. She didn’t know Zelda very well but she did know how much Missy cared for her, so the middle child wept with her younger sibling.

River nodded “I know that you don’t....” she assured “I’ll destroy the body, the best way to kill a spellman is to kill them on the salted plot of their coven, I have it already prepared” she lied, nodding her head to Evie as if the other were some sort of queen. River remained like that until she was sure that the men and their leader were gone. Missy couldn’t help but whine and scream, the screams setting off car alarms nearby. In a matter of moments Felicia appeared, then Frieda did so. The banshee nature not being able to be refused, Frieda even perked when she realized that Eliza even lurked round a tree, watching. “Stand back the lot of you, fuck I can’t believe I’m going to do this....” River grumbled, rubbing her palms together, some regeneration energy springing from her skin like a golden wisp of glitter “I’m giving up one of my regenerations doing this, for a damn Spellman....” she huffed, as if she had some horrible buyers remorse. The hunter bending down and placing her glowing hands on the red head.

She probably has her goons completely surrounding us.” Zelda said hitching her breath. Evie watched River’s hand shake. With a disappointing sigh She rolled her eyes and with a blink of an eye, pulled out her gun and with no hesitation fired off three rounds. Zelda’s tight grip on Missy loosened. And Zelda collapsed onto the ground. Evie our away her gun and quickly gripped River’s chin. “Bag the body, and bring her back so we can dispose of it. Or do you want me to put a bullet in your head as well?” She hissed.

“She went to ground!” River snapped at her boss, before her eyes then widened, not wanting to reveal the relationship she had had with Missy, Brandy and Clara. Not to mention the fact that children had happened because of it, she knew Evie would not at all forgive a hunter breeding with banshees and witches. “I would never keep anything from you” The hunter said quickly “The Carters were weak, they always were...I’m nothing like them in the slightest” she added, cocking her gun and taking aim to shoot Zelda until Evie did it anyway, this making River jump and Missy yell out “I’ll....I’ll take care of it....And the Banshee too...” she said as Missy fell to her knees screaming, the louder her screams became the more distorted they were, her eyes blackening as she did so, calling any banshee in the area to arms and to get her strength. “I can take care of this...” River whispered Evie submissively.

Zelda reached back and grasped onto Missy once Evie had stepped in. “Darling you need to go.” She whispered to Missy. Evie lit herself a cigarette and looked at River quite disappointed. “I gave you an order River. And I’m getting real fucking tired of waiting.” She said raising a perfect brow. “Finish your contract…now.” She said almost warning her.

Zelda then glared at River with bright red eyes. “I think it be better if you leave.”

Zelda froze stiff when River cut off her path. A huge wave of flashbacks triggered her brain. Fires, screams so many deaths.. and her niece. But when Missy stepped between the two, Zelda snapped out of trance and then connected the two and two together. “Missy…this is the hunter you were telling me about?” She said with a crack in her voice. The red head tilted her head and glared at River. “You do realize, I must dispose of this trash. She’s responsible for killing my niece and destroying my coven.” Zelda hissed and stepped closer to River. “You disgusting leech. You’ll forever burn in purgatory for what you’ve done.”

River needed to at least try and finish up some of the cases that Evie had assigned her, having been slipping so much since she’d gotten involved with her girls, not to mention having kids with them. Dispatching the last of the Spellmans seemed the easiest task. “You’re not an easy one to find, Spellman, I’ll give you that” River mused. Missy looked at Zelda with wide eyes “Oh no it’s not like-...Okay, it’s exactly like that, but you have to understand that it was probably alot of Stockholm Syndrome by all accounts” she pointed out. I did warn you all that time ago that I would catch up with you” River hissed as she pointed her three arrowed crossbow at the red head witch. “Whoa whoa, you should take Pamela home...” Missy’s voice then said, this making River turn with wide eyes “Or is the Crossbow Veronica and the dagger Pamela, I could never remember” she said as she got between the hunter and the witch “You’re not meant to be in the country, Missy” River hissed at her ex lover, her eyes immediately softening, yet her eyebrows furrowing at how Missy was being protective over Zelda.

The littlest of tears had been building in the redhead’s eyes – which was why she had turned away from the two, sucking in a silent breath. It must be the dust in the air, she was sure. There was only one who could provoke such feelings out of her and that was Missy, the one that was missing in this little meet up. Her one and only, if she had to be honest. Words she only dared to say out loud when it was just them, on their own. Moving that bit further away, she then turned back to face the two holding each other so gently, she almost felt like she was third wheeling - a feeling that hadn’t left her ever since she had been forced to take care of Clara. It made Brandy swallow when she got nudged to come over and her heart ached for her own decision she had made during their travels. ‘’I can’t do this,’’ she whispered, the crack loud and clear in her voice, the redhead shaking her head. ‘’I know you’re not going to like this, but I have to go, River… take care of her.’’

And with those words, she had left the two alone, knowing her actions would have consequences. But Clara was safe – and she, she had to find Missy, whatever it took.

Clara knew coming here had been a mistake, the realization rang through her when she saw River. Really saw her. The lack of sleep, stress and worry radiated off of her and Clara wished she could take it all away. Just like she had tried to make things easier for Brandy. She hadn’t always been involved in every conversation her lovers had had, but she knew the redhead had always felt like she wasn’t part as much. — Yet, what happened next, was something Clara never could’ve predicted to happen. Within an instant, the witch had vanished into thin air, as if she had never been there in the first place. And she noticed a second later a gasp had left her mouth and her hand in River’s had been squeezing hers out of surprise. Only then focusing back onto River, she felt the anxiety rise in her chest — afraid River would have an outburst for the lack of care Brandy seemed to have. But instead of backing up, she immediately took her lover into a tight embrace, needing to feel her, have her close after so long. ‘’I’m sorry,’’ she whispered — words she felt like she could whisper forever and ever. ‘’I’m sorry,’’ she repeated, wishing everything with it – as she truly was sorry for everything.

River could feel something was wrong with her red head, a witch that River had only gotten attached to because she knew how devoted Missy had been to her, what hurt her even more was the fact that Brandy had really helped when it had come to the babies, it had been her magic they’d used to make it possible and River even imagined that the child she’d had would have gotten Brandy’s fiery red hair, where as Clara’s child would have been a tiny angry half banshee. It was something they’d all even joked about together, how long ago that all seemed. “Don’t you do this, Brandy....Don’t you leave. Not just us, but don’t you leave me” The hunter warned, hurt clear in her voice for the very suggestion, her eyes only mirroring the sadness “Please...” Then came a softer begging plea. “Brandy-” she only tried, but before she could even try to conjure up an argument for the other to stay. She was gone. When River was left alone with Clara, a small breath of a sob escaped River and all she could do was hold her last girl close to herself in a probably near to crushing grip, her heart in pain from Brandy’s ambiguous departure and the simply the overwhelming relief of having Clara close to her, along with the guilt of how Missy had been left out “I just tried to protect you all, because of my carelessness you’re all in danger-...” she stammered, but her face buried in the crook of Clara’s neck, taking in her scent, her warmth. She’d missed sleeping with her girls at night, simply because Clara would always come to her in the night and always cuddle up to her. “Don’t you apologise, this is all my doing. It always was...” she whispered, holding a fistful of Clara’s hair softly as if amazed she was actually feeling her again. “Shh shh”

River sighed “No no, it’s really okay. Don’t worry” The hunter reassured, waving it off and then giving a soft sigh. “It’s something that seems to be eating away at me, like a thick darkness spreading through me...” The womans then admitted after a moment “You do?”
