I found that it's a lot easier to look for a pose I like first then think of a character that would fit. Otherwise I'd just spend forever to search for a pose that would look good on a specific character that I want to draw.

One of my doodles turned out a lot better than I expected. Somehow I really like this one. I originally wasn't even thinking what she's doing, but I just felt like she's singing after I drew her face. More often than not I feel like characters give me ideas about themselves but not the other way round when I draw. Maybe artists think better with their pens instead of their heads lol

<Four Seasons Dancers> This is my first time ever trying to create a themed series of arts, and it sure was a challenge. The "dancer" part might not be that obvious 'cause I tried to make each character look more like "herself". I just didn't feel like to draw a bunch of actual dancers wearing costumes that designed for certain genres of dance lol.

For the last two months, I've been practicing nothing but lines and it sure paid off. I finally begin to feel more confident when drawing lines, like I feel like I know what I'm doing. And fiiinally, I think I'm ready to fully commit to learning coloring. I wish I can feel confident about that some day, too.
