Just a few reminders for anyone who might need to hear these :
You don't earn food. Food is fuel, not a reward for the amount of calories you burned at the gym. You deserve to eat and not only do you deserve food but you deserve to eat what makes you happy.
It is okay to eat even if you didn't work out today or ate more/binged earlier during the day or the day before. Your body still needs the fuel.
The number on the scale or the tag on your clothes don't define your worth.
It's okay to be unproductive and rest. This does not make you lazy or any less of a good person.
Your mental and physical health should always be a priority. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is more important than that
It is okay to set boundaries and this doesn't make you selfish.
It is okay to be angry, sad, depressed, annoyed, happy, a green pea. It is okay to feel and your feelings are valid.
It is okay to lean on others and ask for help, this does not make you weak and you are not a burden.
It is okay to struggle with your mental health, this doesn't make you a burden either or any less loveable.
It is okay to make mistakes and fail. As humans we are not perfect and it's through such experiences that we learn.
Your grades don't define your worth. Let me say it again for the people at the back : YOUR GRADES DO NOT DEFINE YOUR WORTH. And they don't define your intelligence either.
And last but certainly not least, it is okay to feel behind on life or to take things at your own pace. We all move differently through life and no path is better than the other. Don't feel bad for taking your time to discover what you like and what vibes with you.
