New fave display fonts
BRAND Brand is a recent find and I’m not quite over those characters - look at the e and w! I haven’t had time to check out the other ligatures but this display typeface has a lot of potential.
THIRSTY SCRIPT This is a beautiful display script and works great for what I needed when I made this tee shirt. I’ve had some issues with display script typefaces but this one is really balanced and clean, should you need something like this for a project.
SHRIKHAND This typeface manages to be bold yet still soft, which is why I will eventually be using this design on a pillow that I will be adding to my shop.
FABULOUS Fabulous comes with a tall all caps but somewhere along the way I decided to use BigNoodleTitling instead for the all caps part. Hustlin’ is in Fabulous - I really like all of the different options within the Fabulous type family.
LUST I found Lust awhile back when I was looking for something for a Black Friday campaign that I was doing. The shapes of this typeface are gorgeous in black or reversed out. I also LOVE the italic.
EUSTHALIA CLEAN This typeface is so much fun. It has great ligatures and pretty much inspired this design which I ended up putting on a pillow, tee shirt and tapestry.
MADGUE SCRIPT This one is fun just based on all of the ligatures and swashes that are included. I fully intend to eventually put this on a washcloth at some point.
BANT ACHILLERS I found this when I downloaded font bundle. Usually these bundles only have a few fonts that I actually like but it’s fun to download them anyway. I think I might be in love with that ampersand. This typeface is a touch handwritten but it’s very even and proportional, and can be used perfectly given the right context. I had been wanting to use this quote for awhile and ended up putting this design on a notebook & really liked the result.
