Outie Mark was fine with letting Innie Mark, Helly and potentially every innie that was working on cold harbor die in order to save Gemma btw. He was not gonna complete reintegration and he was operating on the assumption that Helena would never do it. And he didn’t care.

Yes, Innie Mark was willing to not save Gemma if it meant having a chance to keep on living with Helly. “I mean, I could just not do it”. It’s horrible. And it’s human. We do horrible things for love. It’s the same thing Outie Mark was doing. They are the same person after all. They love in the same way.

We expect Innie Mark to care about Gemma. We are not concerned with Outie Mark not giving a damn about the innies life.

why are some people so weird about hellys arc in s2? why is it only a problem when it’s helly falling in love but people don’t have a problem when it’s irving, dylan and mark? they don’t see her as a human and get mad when she’s finding a tiny bit of happiness in that hell instead of trying to kiII herself all the time. she’s literally the most complex character/best written character in the show and started a whole revolution on the severed floor but for some people she’s been reduced to a love interest because she wants to love to be loved (something we see helena never experienced too). a female character not doing what you want (killing herself/letting go of the love of her life) for the sake of your favorite characters happiness isn’t anti feminist or misogynistic.
