I've got a hole in my favourite Smiths shirt and if this isn't the most depressing thing that's ever happened to me, then I don't know what is. However, I'll continue to proudly wear the shirt and the hole in it does not indicate that I am without money or that I am lacking basic hygiene, and it most certainly does not imply that I am attempting to show off my body. It simply means that my favourite shirt fought with the dryer and lost miserably.
