This summer marks the 10th anniversary of Origin68! Ten years have passed since we sat in the pub and decided to design some t-shirts and try to sell them on the internet. Well, it only went and worked. Here we are 10 years later. We've even survived a global recession. To celebrate this momentous occasion we've gone all self indulgent and made a ̶p̶r̶o̶g̶ ̶r̶o̶c̶k̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶c̶e̶p̶t̶ ̶a̶l̶b̶u̶m̶ couple of t-shirts. Our brand new reusable cups are available on the website. Half a million disposable cups are thrown away everyday here in the UK. EVERY DAY. Out of those, only a measly 400 get recycled. It’s time to change these bad habits. Get yourself a reusable cup. Even better is to get one made from eco friendly materials. This one is made from naturally sterile Bamboo fibre. Bamboo fibre utilises a lower- energy, lower-CO2 emissions manufacturing process, and is also BPA and phthalate free and doesn’t contain petrochemical plastic. Bamboo is one of the most sustainable materials around due to the speed at which it grows. The best bit is that most coffee houses will give you a discount to put it in your own cup. @pretamangeruk (as a good example) will give you 50p off your drink. You only need to use this cup 22 times to get your money back. If you’re buying a hot drink on the way to work everyday then it’s a no brainer.

Did you know? The hang tag labels that come with our t-shirts are printed on seeded paper. Sooooo, when you’ve had enough of marvelling at its beauty, you can plant it in a pot and, hey presto, beautiful flowers! 🌼🌸🌻 We’ve also designed it to be bookmark size, so you can keep hold of it and re-use it. How good is that? Just doing our bit.
