It’s happened to all of us, at one time or another: we share that secret, most deeply sacred part of ourselves with someone else, only for them to turn us out and treat us like damaged goods.  This is especially true for those of us who are on the Trans Spectrum - and, no, it’s definitely NOT fair or kind.

It takes a special kind of effort not to fall into despair; this is why we often find solace in forums such as these, among other things.

Stay Strong.  And know that, no matter what ever else happens, you are a person of worth and you deserve to be loved.
