Species Reveal

Hemlock Isle's species are all connected in some form or fashion to the Fae. The island knows this and tries to lure in the species as a means to protect them. Yes, the island has a mind of its own, it means well and just wants to serve you.

Fae - Mythical creatures who rule Hemlock Isle. These beings make up the majority of the population on the island. It is their safe haven, they can be free and do as they please.

Humans - Brought here by chance, Humans make up a small portion. They know of the other beings and have to ultimately live with knowing of supernatural beings. They cannot leave the island unless brain wiped.

Mermaids- These beings co-exist with the Fae, they claim the island is rightfully theirs'. They come from all over the ocean, Hemlock Isle is their sacred place.

Shifter - Beings who can shapeshift into animals, believed to be half-fae, which is why they are welcomed here on the isle.

Vampires - Accidently brought to the island, they live a normal life here. they can walk in daylight, eat fresh fruit that is part of the island and can have children. It's just a little4 of what the island offers them. However, they cannot leave freely. Rumor has it if they leave they die painful deaths.

Witches - Another species that were brought by accident or invited, these beings are the decedents of the Fae too, supposedly. They wield magic, just like their ancestors, and live happy lives on the island.

Plot Reveal

Hidden among the vast oceans 250 miles south from the National Volcanoes of Hawaii rests the Isle of Hemlock. To the world, Hemlock does not exist. It's hidden beyond a vale created by the Fae. Only those who are invited, or kidnaped, are residents of the island. Very few ever cross the threshold and come back to the world. The Fae thrive on this island due to the fact the island is part of their homeworld. It is unique and is said to have a mind of its own.

Thanks to the faeries who live on Hemlock, it is abundant in wildlife and nature, from the open woodland to the ocean spraying coves. Since they also maintain the seasons, the Isle of Hemlock experiences hot summers and snowy winters despite them being in a tropical region. Along the coast sits the vibrant city of Hemlock, where many supernaturals find their employment.
