Decided to make Ian Jacobs in Tomodachi life and make him into a self aware mii. He’s been sitting with his little microphone talking to himself on his isolated little island

He’s also documenting the lives of other mii’s on the other island that he observes from afar

I like to think Frankenstein is much more open about being gay and that’s one of the other reasons why he gets shunned away in Victorian society while Jekyll is really repressed and in denial about being gay (because it would destroy his social reputation) but that’s just my little personal headcanon 🤞 (love posting old drawings that flopped on TikTok)

Today my class spoke about the fear that the Victorian society had of Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution because of the possibility that humans may dissolve back into their animalistic instincts and lose their civility. All of Hyde’s behavior stems from instinctive desires of Jekyll and his desire to break out of social conformity that is expected of a respectable gentleman in the Victorian society. I used to not be a huge fan of Hyde’s character but the more my professor explains Hyde’s character to me the more fascinated I become with him.
