Playing around with a more painterly style because I haven't really done it since I had access to Photoshop. Needs more work, but I like it!

Introducing Avira's latest iteration! I think this is version 6? I'll have to dig up all her old art and figure it out :B Anyway, the most notable change are the bird wings and belly scales, and that eye-bleeding bright iridescent purple. I'm going to test this design in a couple more illustrations, but I'm very happy with this so far <3

I had figured out a great way to do it in Krita, but the technique still needs noodling in CSP. I suspect the best approach for this look in a timely way is to go hybrid with the softwares, but swapping hotkey sets really messes with my brain :B

Photo draw-over commission #3! The giants have proven to be a popular theme. I'm sure this one means no harm with that fireball...

On a technical note, I tried to push the atmospheric perspective on this a bit. It's not terrible, but I definitely need more practice at it.
