The fact that fall out boy ever got off the ground HAD to be divine intervention because within this ONE band you had the juvenile delinquent to end all juvenile delinquents, a rabid wolverine trapped in the body of a 5'5 ginger, an anarcho-savagist vegan who hated everything the music industry has ever stood for, and the sweetest man to ever have lived in chicago who was unfortunately VERY susceptible to being peer pressured into inflatable shark theft and they spent all their time in varying stages of trying to kill each other

like yeah 'it was an uphill battle but they didnt know we were gonna use the roads as a ramp to take off' however 'dont stop dancing, dont dare stop' is very bojack horseman coded (idea put in my head by my friend spencer @vortahoney) like you have to keep going. as long as theres an audience you better be performing for it. theres the title itself, "heartbreak feels so good" which invokes to me the same idea as "i only keep myself this sick in the head cuz i know how the words get you (off)" and "my mind is a safe, if i keep it in we all get rich" where its kind of like if it bleeds it leads but for feelings. if its hurting its working.

the futures up for grabs paired with "is there a word for bad miracle?" is so "fame wasnt worth it" (the first time i took of the mask i just had another one underneath). nobody said the climb was friendless, they met each other, but nobody said the road was endless, but could we please please please pretend this wont end. we said wed never grow up. we said wed hunt down these cloudy days like rascally rabbits. (light, from a screen of messages- unsent. do they even care?)

we could dance the tears away, we could move past this, we could break free of this toxic mindset, but baby, heartbreak just feels so good.
