Dear @taylorswift, Hi. My name is Taylor and I’ve been a huge fan since your first album; however, I am normally not one to reach out to celebrities, but I literally don’t know what else to do. Two weeks ago, my apartment building burnt down. I’ve lost everything that me and my fiancé had put together since we were going to try to build our own house in a year or two. I just had a baby January 22nd and all her furniture and everything was lost in the fire. We haven’t heard anything back from the owners of the apartment building. Due to the corona virus, we spent all of our saved up money preparing for quarantine. We have lost everything and now my daughter, my fiancé, my 3 cats and I are living in my fiancé’s moms camper with her. A camper that doesn’t even have its own personal bedroom. So you can imagine it’s pretty cramped. I’ve tried everything I could possibly think of. Family members, loans, but unfortunately I’m only 20 and don’t have a lot of credit built up. My building manager says that there’s nothing they can do and that in our lease it says they are not responsible for any fires, break ins, etc. I figured we’d be able to save up again and move out soon, but both our works shut down last week due to the corona and my last paycheck went to my car payment so it wouldn’t get repoed. I don’t know what to do. I am literally out of options. I hate to reach out to you for the first time like this, but I’ve hit rock bottom and I don’t know how to go up. Can you give me any advice on things I can do to get back on my feet? I’m open to anything at this point. I just want a home for my family. If you don’t see this or don’t answer it, no hard feelings. I’ll still be one of the biggest fans I can be and support you no matter what. You’re amazing and I’m so thankful for your music. It’s kept me going, honestly. Anyways, I gotta put my little one down so I guess I’ll end this here. I hope me reaching out for the first time like this doesn’t leave a bad impression of me. I just don’t know what else to do. Hi Taylor, don't know what else to do. I'm an Uruguayan fan who needs your help. My family has a lot of problems because of the coronavirus. My mother has to take care of my little brothers and me because we are having some economic problems, and the company I was working at during the nights to help her, cancelled their night shifts due to this issue. I literally don't want to ask for money but this is my only option. I'm so sorry if any of this bothers you at all. I love you with all my heart, Val.
