Hey guys! Simon O’Connor, aka Simon Doom, MGMT’s new bassist is doing a Reddit Q & A tomorrow at 1:00 pm EST. Ask him anything you want! https://www.facebook.com/simondoomband/videos/1631319246887263/

The Hank Sullivant-fronted outfit's new single is a sublime little groover An early member of the Whigs and a guitarist for MGMT, Hank Sullivant found his own voice as singer/guitarist of the four-piece pop/rock outfit Kuroma. The group's third album, the excellent (and superlatively titled) Kuromarama, is due out later this spring, and the new single from it is the irresistible "Love Is on the Way." The song marries a Bo Diddley riff to a boogeying shuffle and a lithe falsetto, united by a '70s sort of cheesy utopianism. The final product is like Scissor Sisters covering David Bowie's "Up the Hill Backwards," and just as delectible as that description would imply.
Because David Bowie with wife #1 walking baby Zowie needs to be on my blog. Thank you Bruce <3
A new record from Tame Impala in 2015!!!! Christmas has come late!
2014 has certainly been a roller coaster. From standing on the main stage in Indio to 7 hospitals in 4 cities to having my favorite song dedicated to me and serenaded to more IVs than I can count to dancing and partying on an aircraft carrier....I'm still here. Nicest thing anyone said to me all year: It makes me feel so happy to look out there and see your smiling face when we're playing.
