Cora had a love hate relationship with Newt. One minute they were bickering back and forth about the littlest things, then they were apologizing to each other and forgetting all about the petty argument. But this time it was more than just a tiny disagreement. Both were yelling at the top of their lungs, the shouting match escalating with each shout. At one point Cora had decided it was enough and went to walk away, deciding she would sleep with Thomas for the night. 

  The last thing she’d expect was for him to grab her and slam her back against the wall, his hands pinned on either side of her head and breath fanning over her face. Her lips part as her mind swims with million thoughts on what to say. Her cheeks began to flush as she stares back into brown eyes. “I hate you.”
