I know, I know - #TeamNoSleep, I’ll sleep when I’m dead, etc. But honestly, you need to find your Circadian Rhythm. You need to find your optimal function level. Getting no sleep for the sake of being more productive is like driving cross country without sleep for 72 hours. It’s asseninne. Christmas break gave me the opportunity to maximize more time at home. My wife Michelle was home for two weeks because the teachers have Winter break. When I coached teams, I always took into account the success that my players had. I felt responsible for their failures. I never looked at it as it wasn’t my fault, I looked at it as a reflection of my coaching. The same holds true in business. You’re only as successful as the people you lead. You can’t consider yourself successful based on some numbers or some crazy equation or algorithm. It’s all about who are you helping? Who have you helped to gain success in their journey? Who has a testimonial about your services to them. If you don’t have enough of these things, you are not successful. It’s all about helping the next man up.
