Account Deactivation
I'm so sorry, but I'm going to have to deactivate my account. I never have time for RPing anymore, and I feel bad about all the threads that I keep starting only to leave for weeks at a time. The past year with all of you has been lovely. Thank you, and know that I will miss you all.
((OOC: I'm so sorry all my wonderful partners, but school is EATING MY LIFE right now so I will try to be on when I can in coming days - I like Camp Half-Blood better than reality anyway - but it might be a week or more before I can get back to you.))
"So you’ve always been… Rhea." Luke repeated her words slowly, not sure whether they made any sense. "And before recently you just didn’t know it? Or did you know and you were just lying to me?" He sighed. It wasn’t as though he hadn’t gotten used to people lying to him around the time he was eight years old, but he had just started to like Gabby when she’d suddenly gone all silver-eyed and ultrapowerful.
" The gods wiped my memory in an effort to keep me from fading." Gabby told Luke gently. " Therefore, I was always Rhea and just didn’t know."
"Damn," Luke said slowly. "And I thought that I had weird god-problems." He winced sympathetically. "Do, uh, you at least get any cool extra powers with the whole titan package?" he asked, hoping for a silver lining.
Future AU: Luke and Violet
Violet smiled “I don’t think that’ll ever happen” she said, shrugging “and as for the curse, aren’t you suppose to know that you have the curse?” she then tilted her head in curiosity “No, actually.. Some doesn’t know it - So, yeah” she added, now nodding “Let’s just hope that you don’t have it - We can always try to fix it anyways. We’ll obviously and definately fix it” she then smiled even wider
"I don’t have any curses that I know of, so yeah, let’s hope for the best," Luke said. "I mean Zeus mostly-sorta forgave me since I killed Kronos, Poseidon had more than ample opportunity to kill me when I was sailing around and didn’t do so, Hera doesn’t like anyone, Hades… well, he already got his price, Artemis isn’t the type to carry a grudge for a long time, Mr. D wants me dead but can’t do anything about it while he’s on probation, Kronos isn’t in a position to be cursing anyone, and my dad?" Luke shrugged. "Nyx only knows what my dad thinks of me at any given moment in time. At least for right now he’s claiming he doesn’t hate me, so I’ll take that as a good sign."
Listening to Luke, Violet lightly giggled as she simply then kissed his cheek and nuzzled into it “Nothing to worry about then” she said, now nodding as a smile simply formed on her lips right after “Let’s just hope for the best and it truly amazes me how much you know just about everyone” she added, softly laughing “Anyways, we will love our child. Whatever he or she would be, we will love our child”
"Yeah, you know me," Luke said dryly, smiling to himself. "Met a couple dozen or so gods, managed to piss off every single one of them at some point... I probably have to have some kind of record for most accumulated bad karma." He laughed along with Violet. "Yeah, I like the sprog already just because we made him, but maybe we should just tell people he's your kid and leave it at that."
"To the Airport" || Luke & Violet
Lightly giggling against his lips as the boy wrapped his arms around her waist, Violet kept her lips against his lips as she listened to him speak “Our future just looks good right now” she said “We’re having a great present and we’ll have a better future” she added as her small body then moved on top of him
"Were you talking about the long-term future or the immediate future?" Luke asked somewhat breathlessly, wrapping his arms around Violet where she rested on top of his body.
Smiling at how the boy wrapped his arms around her waist, the girl continued to kiss Luke “Well, the near future I guess. The long-term future is hard to tell but I guess that hoping wouldn’t be a bad thing?” she said as she then lightly giggled and simply kissed him even deeper “I love you.. Luke..”
"I love you too," Luke murmured.
The next morning he rolled over to smile at her where she lay next to him on the pillow, admiring the way that the sunlight traced her hair with a golden halo. For a few minutes he just lay like that, not wanting to wake her when she looked so peaceful and beautiful, and then he leaned over and pressed a gentle kiss against her cheek.
Meeting in Tartarus (AU)
Luke shrugged expansively, glancing around the little temple as well. ”Some shrine of my dad’s, near as I can tell. I have no clue how it ended up down here, but some of the offerings people send to him come out on the altar, and the monsters generally avoid it, so…” He shrugged. With a wince he gathered all the bits of writing into a ball and stuffed them into one of the pockets of his denim shorts, hoping that Annabeth - or, Hades forbid, Percy - hadn’t gotten the chance to read any of them.
"Anyway, you two can camp out here for as long as you like. There should be more food falling from the sky in a few hours, so if you want to sleep until then that’s fine. I can go ahead and keep watch, make sure that no one comes looking for you." Luke smiled again, and found that it came more naturally this time. He had missed Annabeth. Heck, he’d missed talking to people at all, but Annabeth had definitely been one of the people he missed the most. She couldn’t stay, he reminded himself. She had to have a way out of here, because she didn’t belong. Even if she died down here Hades would probably ship her straight off to the Elysian Fields, and that would be that.
As soon as Annabeth’s feet touched the ground to what Luke said to be his dad’s, she dropped Percy on the floor with a light thump before looking around even more. There were wrappers and unfinished meals like half eaten pizzas, but what was that Luke just picked up? Annabeth tried to lean sideways to see, but Luke had been too quick to hide it. She’d have to ask him later. “How in Hades would Hermes’ shrine end up in Tartarus?” she asked, mostly to herself than anyone else.
Luke had offered the place for them to stay as long as they wanted. Hearing those words, Annabeth was just about ready to drop down beside Percy, close her eyes, and open them just to realize that everything had been nothing but a dream. That would have been priceless for her. But she knew that this wasn’t a dream. It was more of a nightmare come to life. When Luke said that food would be falling from the sky, Annabeth’s reaction was to look up only to find nothing. Where would the meals be coming from? She didn’t care. As long as there’s food she’d be fine. The problem was the waiting time. A few hours, her friend said. How long was that exactly? Does time even move here in the pit? Until then, Annabeth could get some shut eye while Luke offered to watch for monsters. Three demigods stationary on a single place was bad, even if it was a shrine for a god. Without saying a word, Annabeth sat down beside Percy while Luke moved towards the entrance, facing outside to do his job. Instead of falling asleep as she’d hoped though, the daughter of Athena turned to face the son of Hermes while Percy snored and drooled behind her. At first she studied him quietly, and then she asked, “what was that?” Annabeth could only hope he understood the question.
Luke stared out of the entranceway of Hermes's shrine, listening to Annabeth and Percy settle down into what would hopefully be at least a long nap behind him. He knew from the rumor mills down here that the Doors of Death had been open for a time, and that monsters were still escaping through there, so he figured that that was going to be the best option for trying to get his young cousins back out into the world where they belonged. He knew that he should go with them at least as far as the Doors, to provide what protection he could, but... He shuddered at the thought of venturing deeper into Tartarus. He had spent months dragging himself to this relatively shallow area from the depths in which he had emerged when he first died, and he didn't want to go back down. And yet he knew that he would; he would move mountains, jump off cliffs, and stab himself in the heart to keep his little surrogate family safe. He had already died to save Annabeth; what was a little trip down Tartarus after that?
He turned, startling slightly, when Annabeth spoke. Just for a second he expected to see the fierce wild-eyed seven-year-old he had first known her as, imaging that the dark-haired form next to her belonged to Thalia. "What was what?" he said guiltily. He stuffed his hands in his pockets in an overly nonchalant gesture, wishing that he had somewhere logical to go and hide from her always-too-intelligent gaze.
Gabby woke up in the trees and stretched. It was the best sleep she had gotten in years. Hoping down, she started toward the camp but only made it the edge of the meadow. Luke had come looking for for and was now coming toward her.
Luke stopped a few feet away from Gabby, looking her over and crossing his arms. ”Look,” he said flatly. ”Uh. You should…” He hesitated. Now was not the time to start arguing with her again. Kronos was right that they were probably going to need to work together in the future. ”Are you okay?” he asked instead. ”I’ve never been mind-hijacked by a titan, but I gotta imagine it’s not fun.”
Gabby sighed as she tried to figure out how to explain this to him. ” Luke, I am Rhea. There is no separation like there is with you and Kronos. We are the same person.”
"So you've always been... Rhea." Luke repeated her words slowly, not sure whether they made any sense. "And before recently you just didn't know it? Or did you know and you were just lying to me?" He sighed. It wasn't as though he hadn't gotten used to people lying to him around the time he was eight years old, but he had just started to like Gabby when she'd suddenly gone all silver-eyed and ultrapowerful.
Future AU: Luke and Violet
Violet lightly giggled “Yeah, that’s pretty much true” she said, nodding as a smile then formed on her lips “I’ll love whatever he or she would turn out to be. We’ll love whatever he or she would turn out to be” she added, smiling even wider “Anyways, he or she would turn pretty much turn into a human like us. I’m pretty sure with that unless I’ll get cursed or got cursed but I don’t think that’ll happen of it did happen”
"Yeah, just try to avoid claiming that you’re prettier than any goddesses or better at sports than any minor gods or anything like that for the next couple months," Luke said. "Just to be sure. Because that’s the kind of thing that tends to annoy them, and then…" He winced as another thought occurred to him. "I hope I don’t have any curses on my head waiting to fall on my kids. I’ve annoyed pretty much every single god in existence at some point."
"To the Airport" || Luke & Violet
"Yes, it will be" she muttered as she cupped the boys cheek and continued to kiss him passionately "Hmm" she then sighed "I love you" she said, smiling against his lips "I love you so much" she added as she deepened the kiss
"And would you look at that, the future’s getting better already," Luke said. He kissed Violet back, happily wrapping both arms around her to bring them closer together. "Or are we in the future already? Is this the present? Ugh, I shouldn’t think about any of this weird time stuff or I’ll only give myself a headache."
Lightly giggling against his lips as the boy wrapped his arms around her waist, Violet kept her lips against his lips as she listened to him speak “Our future just looks good right now” she said “We’re having a great present and we’ll have a better future” she added as her small body then moved on top of him

But save you? I promise I’ll always try. I just don’t know if I’ll always succeed. I might be awesome, but I’m not perfect -Luke Castellan [x]

"To the Airport" || Luke & Violet
When the boy kissed her back, Violet smiled to herself before she then looked up at him and let their foreheads rest against each other as sh listened to him speak “Well, I like that one more” she giggled “I’d love to have you spend more time with me” she said as her lips reached out to his for a quick second “Especially like this because I can kiss you easily” she added, smiling even wider
Luke laughed even as he kissed Violet back, the air from their lungs mixing together. ”Good point. If the future is going to include you, then of course it’s going to be positive. Silly me.”
"Yes, it will be" she muttered as she cupped the boys cheek and continued to kiss him passionately "Hmm" she then sighed "I love you" she said, smiling against his lips "I love you so much" she added as she deepened the kiss

Future AU: Luke and Violet
"I guess my hopeful guess slipped" Violet giggled as a smile then formed on her lips at the end "I wouldn’t mind a girl but I admit that I’m leaning more on the boy" she said, now nodding "I’m glad that you would like a boy as our child but we’re still not sure" she added shrugging "but whatever she or he is, I’ll still love him or her forever.."
"Well, if you give birth and the sprog turns out to be half-gorgon or something, I’ll have a couple of really interesting questions, but you’re right that I’ll probably just end up loving it anyway," Luke said, laughing. "Our kid is going to be awesome no matter what - just look at who his parents are."
Violet lightly giggled “Yeah, that’s pretty much true” she said, nodding as a smile then formed on her lips “I’ll love whatever he or she would turn out to be. even I’m not sure I could live like that. What if we had a fight? -Luke Castellan [x]
Future AU: Luke and Violet
"True, very true" she nodded "I think we’ll be able to plan that out in the future. I mean, who knows? Maybe something new would come out and we could use it to defend ourselves" she said, smiling "or we can be wizards and witches and try to create a spell or potion" she then giggled as she simply placed a hand on her stomach and smiled even wider to herself "Our child is going to have one heck of a welcome party when he’s ready to get out"
“‘He’? Did you just refer to the sprog as ‘he?’ Is that a hopeful guess I hear or mother’s intuition?” Luke leaned over the table, peering at Violet’s still-flat belly as if it would give up its secrets if he just looked carefully enough. ”I totally want to have a boy - we could teach the kid all sorts of boy things. Although I guess a girl could be cool too,” he added as an afterthought.
