I heard you couldn't draw super well right now, so I sent over some special art supplies for monsters with weak hands! My little kit used to use them, but she wanted someone who needed them more to have them now.

[It's two whole sets of large, egg-shaped crayons. One box seems pretty well used.] [There's also a drawing stuffed in the side, showing two white fox monsters with red paws. One of them seems a little droopy, but they both look happy.]

Huh...? Well, only other fox monsters I know from here is Miss Ketsukane. M'parent's don't want me talkin' to her, but I see her head out t'ward the Wild East sometimes. Guess you must be new? Well, nice't'meet'cha! The names Sage.

(There's something so familiar about that name...) (... More memories that don't make sense, faceless figures standing over them.) Well, uh, must be a real big coincidence then...? Far as I know, the one I'm thinkin' of lives alone. But, still, nice't'meet'cha, Kanako! [* The itching feeling of familiarity eats away at Sage's SOUL. But they aren't ready for that yet.] [* ... And, wow, the accent is really strong. even over a virtual format.]

Hmm.. Well, I sat outside the Wild East, watchin' the sherrif and his group fool around. Only a few of them this time- The Sherrif, Ed, an- I think I saw the fish monster fella too.. and uhh, the fella with the hat.

Ma lets me go there alone when I don't got school, but I just end up watchin' from afar. She's all sorts'a worried 'bout me gettin' hurt. Or sick. Or a whole buncha things.

Ah- well, m'real sorry to hear that. I can't imagine bein' stuck up inside all the time. Ma already tried after I had a real bad headache n' slept a little too long, but I was fine! Sometimes, mom's are just like that. M'sure she has a real good reason, even if it sucks. 'specially if you were REAL real sick.

Well... fer' what it's worth, you probably meant real well. Sometimes, mistakes happen. Yer' mom doesn't hate you, clearly, so hold onto that. You've got someone.
