Hello, I'm Feshnie. I feel like since the beginning, I’ve never managed to properly introduce myself, sorry^^;

Nothing bad has happened nor did I lose interest in Arslan Senki. I’m still a fan and will continue to enjoy the manga and the approaching new season, Fuujin Ranbu. I won’t stop drawing them too.

What I’m doing is merely returning back to my artblog, jove-bluh, which I should have just done from the start. But stuff happened and if you’ve been around during my breakdown, you know that I originally intended for this blog to end after the first season finished. So I’m basically just going back to my original plan.

In short, I’m going to post future Arslan Senki fanarts on my artblog instead.

What will happen to this blog though? I’ll still keep it around because I’m not giving up such a cute url and I’ve built quite the content here that I would feel sad about deleting. Plus I linked my AS fancomics to this blog in my list of comics.

You’re very welcome to follow me on my artblog if you don’t mind contents of various series. I don't do requests there but I do commissions if you're interested ^v^

I’m not really the best person to ask about this because I only know them by name and face so I know very little. But if you don’t mind a bit of spoiler,

I hope I’m getting this right--

Merlane is Alfreed’s brother.

Princess Irina is a Princess from Maryam and she’s someone important to Hermes.

Please look forward to them in the second season \;v;/ (and the manga, whenever that will happen)

Here’s the source (interview with director Abe, script director Uesu, character designer Ogiso), but unfortunately they didn’t reveal any details about the story (e.g. which part of the novel they’re going to cover in season2, etc).

I can’t translate all of them since my English sucks, but here are some of their remarks that caught my attention:

Uesu: “This time, the spotlight is focused on Narsus, so I’d like his fans to look forward to it.”

Ogiso: [There were two types of design for the characters’ costumes in this season.] “In design B, Narsus was supposed to wear short pants and Farangis was supposed to be dressed even more lightly (lol).“

Ogiso: “In the new series, a lot of new characters will appear. They are very unique and attractive characters, especially Merlane and Princess Irina, so please look forward to them.”

Thanks again! Can you tell I’m desperate for any information about S2? WTF were they thinking with ‘design B’ though? NARSUS IN SHORTS. I mean I would be amused to see the concept art for it but thank goodness they didn’t go even more revealing for Farangis because that would be completely ridiculous.

I’m assuming they’re going to base the designs for Merlane, Irina and Jovana on the sketches that Hiromu Arakawa included in the Animation Works booklet, but it would be great to see them. The official Twitter mentioned that more of the new characters will be announced next week, so it could be them or it could be the characters from Gilan. Or if there are new characters apart from them I don’t know about it yet, lol.

I was playing around with my Arslan Senki models in DesignDoll and after I made Elam pose as an archer, I... wanted to see everyone doing it too?

Thought I’d try and see if I could make the models as their intended character and this doodle happened.
