can someone who knows OG gundam please tell me. who is the Char of transformers. i feel like i have half baked assumptions but, crucially, my gundam knowledge is a) mostly via osmosis and b) where it isn't, it is not Universal Century stuff. in my heart i feel like 'who is the Char of Transformers' must have a correct answer but i need an expert to explain to me what it is
@thesharmat i thought so hard about this. for so long. unfortunately (for trying to draw this comparison) char is so many things that one could pick out different prominent transformers for various aspects of him. and also i agree that p much any one of those wishes they were char. however. i still tried to pick one transformer whom i could justify making my choice and feel reasonably good about it, and i'm gonna say it's senator shockwave

Hello anyone lurking in these tags reading this. I'm a veteran WoW player, returning because the bug bit me again pretty hard with Legion Remix, and I'm looking for other people to play with/a guild or community to join.
It's been so long since I've had the need to actually find a community, that I don't even know how or where to look anymore LMAO So I'm tossing a few posts out into the aether on various social media to see if I get any leads.
Anyway, I've played since vanilla, with a recent 6-7 year break. Game is totally new to me now.
Looking for a group that RPs, and is okay with casual content, and just hanging out.
I play Alliance and Horde, with a couple new characters on Wyrmrest Accord, and most of my older characters on Earthen Ring (which is a ghost town now ;A;)
I did find a general recruitment discord, but am a little wary to just join it. If suggested, I will bite the bullet.

Being an extremely good trad game designer is frustrating because you'll say something like "a game's skill list must support character concepts and signal what players do in the game" and some dude whose credentials are "runs D&D 3.5 a lot in 2025" will talk about how 50 skills are necessary like you're stupid for suggesting otherwise
A bunch of side conversations about the specific version of D&D but also the rest of my point was that men (it's always cis men) will assume hours of playing a bad game that's 25 years old is the equivalent of my 50 published credits and multiple design consulting gigs.
