Freya bounced excitedly up to the Dragonite, "Hello! You look very strong! I bet you can fly very fast with those wings of yours!" She flashed a wide smile, then tilted her head to the side, with a questioning look,

"I was curious, I've heard of this Protectors Guild around here, do you know anything about them? What do they do? They sound pretty cool!"

[Catherine calms down a little and smiles upon seeing the Arcanine's positive energy.]

[Catherine] "The Protectors Guild is pretty cool. They go out and help any Pokémon they can, from rescuing Pokémon from mystery dungeons, or helping guide Pokémon through dangerous places, or even taking down outlaws threatening our safety."

[Catherine then looks through her bag before taking out a high ranking shield-shaped badge and showing it off.]

[Catherine] "I'm a member of the guild, myself."

[She puts her other hand behind her head and begins rubbing the back of her neck.]

[Catherine, nervous] "It's a lot of difficult work, especially for a Pokémon like myself."

[Her eyes veer down towards the sand for a second and her voice softens as she speaks, but she catches herself and looks back at the Arcanine with a bit more confidence.]

[Catherine, nervous] "But, you can trust me in keeping everyone safe and sound."

Aro's Weekly Munday Question: What's your characters' preferred method to warm themselves during the cold weather? (e.g. sweater, heater, tea/cocoa, etc.)

(Again, re-using last week's one since I am out of ideas)

Catherine would like to bundle up in a blanket and drink some hot chocolate.

Sophie likes to sit around the fire (campfire, fireplace, or handmade torch). It's something she's done since she was a Slowpoke.

Elise is an Ice type, so she doesn't mind the cold at all.

Everly approached with a smile. She waves her ribbons. “Nice place for a peaceful alone time huh?”

She sat down, and asked. “Got a name? Mine’s Everly.”

[Catherine sees the Sylveon approaching and becomes more anxious than usual, even with the friendly sounding voice. She takes a second to try and calm herself down before speaking.]

[Catherine, nervous] "Yes, um... I'm Catherine. I work at the Protectors Guild."

[She then looks back towards the ocean.]

[Catherine, nervous] "And, yes. It is nice, especially at this time of year."

M: Why are you here? As he offeres a box that magically has their favourite food

[As tempting as the food is, Catherine is wary of being offered food from someone she is unfamiliar with. She smiles and waves her hand as to not be rude.]

[Catherine] "Um... It's okay, I'm not really hungry right now. Thank you, though."

[She then lowers her hand back down.]

[Catherine] "And to answer your question, well... I sometimes go here when I want to relax or do some thinking, especially when I'm by myself."

"Oh, hello, dear." She approaching another of her kind with a greeting smile. "It's so good to see a Dragonite, oho... Your helmet is very cool by the way. Is this inspired by the Mega Evolution? I mean, I am, like the one.

Anyways, I'm Patricia, you can call me Pat if you don't mind. What about you?"

[The Dragonite is surprised by the voice complimenting her, so she looks back and finds... another Dragonite! Her surprise is doubled.]

[Dragonite] "O-Oh! Hello."

[Dragonite, thoughts] "(Oh my goodness... Is this real?)"

[She takes a deep breath before adjusting herself slightly to sit partly facing the other Dragonite.]

[Dragonite] "Thank you. It's actually a Dragonair inspired cap. The original was blue and white, but a... friend of mine had commissioned another one to be made to match my bow."

[She lifts her head up to show off her bow worn on her neck.]

[Dragonite] "It's nice to meet you Patricia. I'm Catherine, and I'm a member of the Protectors Guild."

[As Catherine speaks, she takes notice of the familiar details on Patricia's body, such as the wing-like antenna and the orb on her tail.]

[Catherine] "I've never seen another friendly Dragonite around Dewdrop town, especially one that's Mega Evolved. I hope no one has given you any trouble while you're here. Things should be getting better around here, at least I hope."

"Oh, I see. Still, very nice." she smiles. "Catherine is such a great name you have, dear."

"Wait, are Dragonites here aren't that friendly?" she looks a bit shocked upon hearing about Dragonites in Catherine's world "I-I mean, that's a big news for me. Our species are usually one of the most friendly Dragon types... I understand there's an affair about Mega Evolutions, but no, I didn't had trouble."

She sighs with relief. "Well, at least, this place is so peaceful. Just like Blackthorn City, my home..."

[heroicscales]

[Catherine, sad] "Oh, you didn't know?"

[Catherine looks disappointed.]

[Catherine] "I'm sorry you had to hear about this. Our kind is one of the many that everyone around the world doesn't view kindly because of the bad apples that have reeked havoc... I'm doing my best to fix that."

[She then looks out in the direction where the Protector's Guild is, even if she ends up looking up at the cliff behind her.]

[Catherine] "And so is the Protectors Guild. Because of us, this town is a lot more welcoming than it was before. Trust me, you don't want to know what it was like before."

[Catherine shudders as the thoughts of her past come to mind.]

[A Dragonite is sitting along the shoreline of Dewdrop Town and staring into the seemingly endless ocean. There are other Pokémon on the beach, but she is all by herself in her own little area. She appears to be deep in thought.]
