A little Fowler’s toad [Anaxyrus fowleri] takes a quick peek from the safety of its sandy burrow. Fowler’s toads are often mistaken for American toads in areas where their ranges overlap, and the two species have even been known to hybridize. Images by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources.

Hi!
My friend makes handwoven beaded earrings, shipped from Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah, OK
I have an ever growing collection of my friends’ earrings and I just wanna show them off for a moment because they bring me so much joy and I just got another pair that arrived today. Check out @modernclanearrings on IG and her Etsy shop to support an Indigenous owned small business. Enjoy ogling over my collection like I do daily:
I’m continually blown away by Jewel’s talent and creativity and friendship. I’m so proud of her. These pictures don’t even do the colors of the beads justice.

Hold on,,,, you haven’t seen any frogs with hats today???? Well we gotta fix that
I’m not sure if anyone’s already posted this here but Lance Tsosie needs your support. He is fairly well known indigenous activist on TikTok who uses his platform to call out racists. Because of that, he’s received death threats from said racists and because of the amount of it, including a man literally making a skit about how he wanted to scalp Lance and hang him on his wall (would link that dude’s account but it’s gone) he has made the decision to move. Here is his video on the matter:
And here is a link to his account where you will find his cashapp and linktree in his bio:
