I actually went “Awwwwwwww” at “Fear not soft noodles”
i have many questions but the most pressing of which is why is what looks like a mass effect pistol part of the traditional toppings
are you saying a gun is not a traditional ramen topping?
someone: hi
me: between 2009 and 2012 kesha satirised and parodied the archetype of the female pop star and the drunken party girl image. she has a 140 near genius IQ and studied psychology and comparative religion between recording her first album, the irreverent and heartwarming satirical masterpiece “Animal”. time after time she deconstructed the pop star image with a trash glam aesthetic that was authentic to her music taste and she frequently honoured her mother’s country rock/hippie mentality that informed her unique working class upbringing. “Rainbow” is a Butterly moment and the magnum opus of her career that honours her country rock beginnings and amplified the vulnerability of her songwriting. ‘Warrior’ is one of the most underrated pop albums of all time. she wrote every lyric to her nearly all her songs and when you actually listen to the anecdotes in the verses of “TiK ToK” it’s clear she’s writing about real life experiences of parties in Nashville/California instead of just generic party song lyrics about being in the club. she really did brush her teeth with jack one morning in vegas, in this essay i will
I didn’t know cheetahs meow I’ve always thought they roar my whole life has been a lie
Nope, cheetahs and leopards meow. Tigers and lions roar. No big cat can do both.
Unmute for purry speed kitties.
You don’t have to love your body
I really needed to read this today. Thank you.
Potato girl has her life goals in order.
The journey doesn’t end here. Death is just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass. And then you see it. White shores… and beyond. A far green country under a swift sunrise.
WIP
Its been a long while since I’ve seriously considered the difference between emotion and choice. As it pertains to love, but especially as it pertains to the love in my life.
If you ask a group of children weather love is an emotion or a choice they will tell you it is an emotion, it is something that cannot be chosen. It is the volunteer inside of us that stands up and offers our souls without any expectation of return, it is the poet who will spend their entire life trying to describe your beauty in sonnets that will echo throughout the ages, it is the reason we begin and maintain every relationship in our lives.
Love, is an emotion.
If you ask a group of adults weather love in an emotion or a choice they will tell you that it is a choice. It is waking up every day and choosing to fight for the person laying next to you, it is choosing to stand by them through the hardships that will turn them into either someone you admire or someone you detest and then you will choose to admire them for it.
Love, is a choice.
If you ask me weather love is an emotion or a choice I will tell you that it is both. It is falling head over silly heals in love in four hours under the light of the moon and then choosing to keep that person with you everyday thereafter, it is choosing to turn around, and walk back toward them after the vitriol that has spewed out of their mouth has shattered your heart and scattered the broken pieces across continents because you know… the love you feel for them vastly outweighs the pain they just caused.
Love, is both.
If you ask me weather love in an emotion or a choice I will tell you it is neither. That there is no combination of letters or characters that can form syllables in any language on earth to explain the love a soldier feels for his country that sends him to war, the love a mother feels for her unborn child that she will change her entire life for, the love that has your toes dangling over the precipice, feeling the hot, heavy, humid wind rushing over you caused by the traffic racing below when you realize she is gone… and she’s never coming back.
Love, is neither.
It is an all-consuming, intangible concept that has existed in everyone and everything for longer then our barbaric languages have been able to describe. Perhaps love, weather it be emotion or choice, both or neither, has fuelled our every thought and action for so long that it’s all become one in the same, a continuous endless cycle of one leading into the other until it is indistinguishable which came first. Or which means more.
Perhaps it’s just our job to love as much as we can, and none of our goddamned business to question it.
