since I’m not gonna be using this blog, if anyone wants my theme let me know. I’d hate to see it sit there if someone could put use to it, and personally I think it’s quite nice. So if you’re a lydia looking for a new theme ?? Feel free to mind ??
HIATUS NOTICE:
I’ve made the decision this blog is on indefinite hiatus
honestly, this was a decision which was really hard for me. I love Lydia with all my heart, truly she is one of my favourite characters to grace my tv. But over a year in this fandom had made me see how much I really hate it. The ship wars, the bickering and the nonsense is too much, && I really can’t deal with it. It’s been a year and I felt I never found my niche.
There are so many amazing Lydia’s around and I honestly don’t feel I will be missed; this isn’t too upsetting, since I have many other places to be. I just never, ever meshed well with lydia in this fandom and while it’s sad, it’s also true.
Lydia has been a joy to write, and I’ve met some amazing people in this fandom. But most of you already follow me in other places. I love Lydia so much, I love her character and I’ve love writing her, but I’ve lost my use and it’s too sporadic for me to keep a blog. So I’m going to throw this on hiatus.
If anyone wanted me, you’ll find me on my peter parker and george wealsey, mostly
I will miss you all, my lovelies. Miss you all so much !! I’ve met so many amazing people, had the opportunity to write so many amazing things. But this is best for me, and maybe one day I’ll be back -- but for now it’s goodbye.

lydia martin has always been the queen bee. With a TONGUE as sharp as her mind & an ability to WALK OVER those in her way, she’d had no trouble establishing herself on top of the pyramid; both metaphorically and literally. She took her role as head cheerleader very seriously, the RIVALRY between Beacon Hills and Devenford not one she was prepared to lose. & yet she, ( nor anyone else ) could deny that the PARTIES at Devenford were irresistible and too often she put aside petty competition to attend, her infamous STRAWBERRY BLONDE HAIR seen weaving through the crowd, twisting amongst columns of smoke on the dance floor.
&& people behind Lydia WHISPERED her name, for she MADE SURE they all knew it.
Lydia Martin was formidable as an ENEMY and so more often then not she found people clamoring to be her FRIEND. But she seemed to keep the list to an elite FEW, members of the cheer-leading and lacrosse teams were a given, ( some of the LACROSSE BOYS she’d periodically enter into tumultuous relationships with until she got BORED) but in general she was out to WIN. Be that on the field or in the classroom, she could be RUTHLESS & yet she was not devoid of warmth, not completely UNKIND to those she knew well. she was one for a GOOD TIME && she was DEFINITELY IN IT, TO WIN IT.
IF THERE’S ANYTHING THEY KNOW HOW TO DO, IT’S HOW TO THROW A PARTY !!
SOME WOULD SAY THAT THE RIVALRY GETS OLD. others say it’s refreshing. from lacrosse game to lacrosse game, the beacon hills cyclones and the devenford prep tigers have always resented each other. hard glares and cocky smirks becoming a sort of costume on the game field– cheerleader chants and marker tainted cardboard signs only adding to the heat. the teams have one rule: NO DATING PEOPLE FROM THE OTHER SCHOOL. and while some adhere to this rule, most students decide that they want to feel the rush of affairs. there are many secrets kept between the jocks and the cheerleaders—- it’s only time that keeps them what they are.
AND DESPITE THE COMPETITIVENESS BETWEEN THE TEAMS, neither one can deny that the other can throw a hell of a good party. the field might be the place for sport, but if you want a real game, devenford parties are the way to go. whether you’re a CYCLONE or a TIGER, or anyone otherwise, the invitation reaches out to you, and you’d be an IDIOT if you decline. grinding, drinking, drugs, everyone that’s ANYONE will be there– what’s not to like? behind thick walls and throngs of people, it isn’t hard to spot the important people in the crowd. the ones with REPUTATIONS to uphold. the jocks, the CHEERLEADERS. the rich kids. it’s a party made in hell.

this is basically a group verse that focuses on the lacrosse teams of beacon hills & devenford prep, and their cheerleaders. because why not have a high school vs. high school verse?
no ooc drama, but ic drama is encouraged tbh. keep it saucy.
also, ooc cliques aren’t fun (i would know) !! please try to interact with everyone in the verse. ic cliques are fine.
duplicate fcs are not allowed unless plotted out by both muns, just so there’s no confusion.

she follows Mason’s line of gaze, her brow furrowing slightly as her own eyes landed on the familiar deputy. && so her voice was tinged with ire, sharpened with an irritation that might have been UNEXPECTED from her.

he pointed awkwardly at the section of her hair. though, he didn’t want to touch it. liam was still nervous around lydia. something he had to work through, considering they saw each other almost every day.
❛ oh, you’ve got to be joking ❜ the thought that she’d been walking around, possibly for hours with something in her hair was almost incomprehensible -- while so many things had changed she’d expected she could at least have kept things out of her HAIR. There’s a huff that comes into her demeanor, a frustration that with everything falling apart so was her APPEARANCE. && so she can only brush her fingers through tangles of STRAWBERRY BLONDE hair, praying whatever was in there wouldn’t be for much long.
