Hesperus Gallant

~This is a roleplay blog for THE THIRD DIMENSION RPG ~ ✦ Hesperus was the son of alien refugees who fled Michael’s dominion to the Lyratisan capitol for safety. Hesperus wanted to do the city proud and became a Peacekeeper Officer in the capitol as a youth. Kenmore forces took over the city causing its survivors to relocate and stay alive. Hesperus was used to the pampered city living and found it hard to adapt to life hiding in the woods. He became close to Zevia Habbal while they all lived together in a village of survivors. Bane, this galaxy's protector returned and helped the small group reclaim the planets they lost and chase out Micheal's forces. Hesperus helps to restore both planets and has close ties with the leaderships. ✦

Hesperus:

They start firing out the ship's weaponry like sucideal maniacs. Of course they don't care if they cause all three ships to blow up.

Michael probably will clone them.

Between our two ships the beams holding the enemy occupied ship down take fire and it was burning the energy being pumped into the beam.

I lean on the wall holding my arm, I start to black out but I know my expertise captaining skills are needed ;)

The lights flicker. I think they hit something on the other ship as they loose their beam. Our ship lurchers still holding on to the enemy occupied ship.

"Lets..let them go but...quickly..revert our power to targeting their engine in a attack beam. Maybe we can hit them before they shield of warp." I command the technical people to get on it. I can only give them a few minutes more to get ready with a weaponized beam to hit them unlethally before we let go of their ship.

Hesperus:

I see the one who went after the females' minds freeze up.

"AHHHH!"

Even with ONE ARM I have to be the HERO and tackle 'pretty boy' down trying to knock him out. His voice was to dangerous ;)

'Pretty boy' tries to get Eve to go at him.

"You really don't want to trigger Bain ones on the bridge!"

I'm going to loose another ship arent I....

Ugh these people really cant comprehend much outside rawr or mate without Michael can they.

Eve twitches at the situla and goes feral tackling him up the wall *to protect him cause HES HERES* *hisses at Pasha*

(Pasha): "Singing got us into all this maybe we shouldn't try it.." She hissed back.

(Florabel): "I WANT I WANT!" She gets into the fray for the 'pretty one' jumping up and down.

*She projects the 'desire' with her high pitch scream*

Zip holds back Elektra but gets phased by the 'prettiness' too and tries to go over to him.

(Zip): "I'll protect you!!"

"Do you want to take a joy ride that bad... I mean where are you going to go..our new cities? You wont like it theres no Mhyspace or pizza.."

I try to joke and fight off their soldiers with my sword when they come at me with just their claws and bulk.

I frown at the ungrateful guests. Such savages ;)

"Now now there is no gate, your son told you that already."

I look to Crusher annoyed as the other one uses his claws a bit deeper in our nurse's neck.

"You know she was taking care of all your messes this whole time.."

(Zip): "Try not to piss him off!" He pleads then adds in "Sire"

"What do you want. Your already in the heart of our territory, we have multiple ships around this area..take over and drive..you wont get far."

I move over to the controls.

(Pasha): "This is ridiculous. No gates..we're trapped here!"

(Eve): "Nice seeing you all again, whatever you think you can do..you cant here. It wont end well."

(Pasha): "You little runaway hussy is that threat!"

(Eve): "Totally."

I bring more fish. The siren who collected the wouldn't go in, sickend by them and all.

Yikes.

"Here. A peace offering. You'll meet our leaders soon enough, please don't try to eat them...it wont end well."

Sets basket down next to the comatose.

....might need to be thrown into the water to come out of that. Like dehydrated food.

(Zip): "Sprinkler!" He cut holes onto of a water bottle and shoots it upward.

The solider leaves to relay the message - that will get there much faster now that we're close. Asking if we should bring them to the planet..or the station. I suggest planet cause...err they are quite tanky..

We almost make it to a randaview point on one of the new captive planets but some of my ship's stop us.

They tell me Lor'Ra wanted them to come out and back us up.

They seemed surprised I was still in command too ;)

"Of course I am! Our.. guests unfornatenly don't do well for long term space travel."

Or maybe its fornatente considering a few of them helped conquer Bane's galaxy...

Zip was sure Ethan could be trusted, saying he helped him out alot when he was imprisoned. Maybe that was true. I wanted to be hopeful. The oldest one scared me though..

"But thank you for coming we do need hep with restocking."

They had fish ;)

Hesperus:

I get a report from one of the guards watching the 'prisoners' and 'rescued'. It sounds horrid. What happened to Zip man.

I wasnt THAT long ago he was running a competent team and now I dont think he should be allowed near a Dora...

They have some strange dietary need. I guess thats so Michael can keep control over them better.

We do have rice but the talk of stopping for fish might not work out.

...

What if they use it to get the better of us?

Rice however is brought in their bowls.

(Zip): "Psss Ethan. All you can eat is rice and fish.. why? Are you allergic to everything.. *GASP* are you like Bane you cant have the chocolate cake!" He pets his head even though Ethan is not 'dragon' looking.

(Zip): "Poor dragons no chocolate, such a sad life.."

I watch the situation more disturbed at how ZIp was acting around that Ethan guy.

Hesperus:

The beast warrior man lets his morphed claw hand go off the neck of one of our men. His daughter paws at him to stop along with the singer's pleading.

(Pasha): "..its enough.." She lowers her head out of it.

(Kaysea): "Death can be honorable, all of you are traitors..you lie..you like." He spat at us shoving away from Pasha's grip.

"You must be tired and hungry."

I clear my thoart calling for assistance.

"Look, whatever happened in the past, you look like a Bain One now...if we released you, would they trust you again after that break out? Or would you suffer more? If we kill you its a waste. Your powerful creatures you deserve to be free.."

One was even so small and young... still had a chance.

Hesperus:

"FIRE!"

I command as we stop cloaking as a protect hive transformed and shoot with the guard down.

Florabell cheers hopping up and down excitedly.

The clone driven hive joins us in firing as the other hive fires back to defend the main hive.

Darts fly in combat.

Hesperus:

My keener alien ears pick up Nuka's voice. He was speaking in some strange language though, what is a 'Angijuk'.

I turn down that tunnel.

"NUKA?!"

I call worried, what if he meant some ... experimental monster creature of the King's that he knew before. Maybe thats what a Angijuk is.

I radio the others but they don't respond { they are having there own little 'reunions' ]

I spot Nuka then go still as something else distracts me.

"Mom?!"

She looked...terrible. I run towards it the other way feeling a quickening of dread.

Hesperus:

That sounds rough. We might get called in if things get too out of hand at the border. I hurry back into the cave after finishing transmissions and hope Nuka didn't get lost in there after my small pit stop.

"Hello?" My voice echoes down the tunnels. My men split up and each went down one.

I look between the paths trying to decide...

Hesperus:

I might have been a little too eager to take home some of that gold..surrounded by death and destruction or not. I mean the gold probably isn't contaminated with anything , probably. Disinfection storage room for a week and its all good...probably.

"Oh Nuka, we can do alot more then scepters and crowns with the gold." I chuckle.

"Would you ever consider upgrading your staff if we continue to be treasure hunters?"

Where there's one mine there might be more after all. Its sure better then running into loyalist hybrid cities after all.

I try to think about ANYTHING but the 'ghost story' really. I cant let it effect me, just how close Nuka's story was to this planet... ALL the kingdom mines probably look like this, ah ha.

I charge onward, the wind sounds like 'wails' of a ghastly presence. BUT I know its just...the wind?

Further along I notice signs of eating, bones, some large and some small. Then dirt thrown over and unfinished holes and signs of scratches...

.....

JUST then my communicator rings and unfornatenly my ringtone was Taiable ROARING.

Some men react, weapons ready and spin around the multiple caverns and tunnelways looking for the source of the sound.

"SORRY guys, that's just me."

I step away to take the communication. It was Queen Lor'Ra. OH NO, bad news. We would not be alone for long....

"I'll let her know at once! We'll send transformers..theres not alot yet but I hope it can help!"

I reply back and tell the men to call in all ships further out then us to start moving towards the border if they can. Teyorin would not be the easiest to take but Eve was very clever I'm sure she can do it, even more so now that I know how powerful she was! Having only before saw her being a strong leader as just Lyrasitan.

I wait a moment making sure I was out of the cave for reception. I recvice a message back from Eve.

'On our way with the senators, do will infiltrate to get to the gate or go on the attack at once?' I forward it to Lor'Ra.

Hesperus:

I look back at Nuka when he mentions the ghouls. I think his story was feeding the men's imaginations (and maybe my own)

"Possibly could have been rebellion here...maybe the King just wiped them all out..traitors? I don't know.."

It seemed like such a waste of life I wonder what Michael used Ben for anyway? Destroying whole hives? Threatening whole planets? I wonder how rare it was that he really gassed a whole world...it must have been bad.

I watch where I'm stepping. Nothing on the bodies seemed to be something we could recognize. It was too long ago.

Nuka shows me gold under the ash.

"Gold."

Like..his story.

"Hey get some of that, to take back with us!" I tell one of the men. He looks at me disturbed but gets out supplies.

(Solider): *mumbling to self* "Cursed gold..all we need with our luck.."

I catch up with Nuka and see inside the mine. There was KEEP OUT in...something on the wall.

"Now that looks like it was written by someone with hands...not a ghost." I laugh it off and take a closer look at the railroad trail. Some part of it seemed newer then the rusted parts..

Hesperus:

I look back at Nuka when he grabs my arm. The men let out a little laugh, amused Nuka took the bumpy ride so well but not the spooky death planet. I don't blame him though, humans are pretty fragile to sickness and mutations right?

"Oh yeah dont worry Nuka our ship DOES have those types of scanners an alarm would have went off and the doors locked. Its breathable here.."

I wrinkle my nose.

"Given its, a little dusty."

Another man with some bad burns on his face - so he knows - says this place might have been given the 'Ben Starker' treatment and the King gassed it.

"Maybe the story was true Nuka..Michael was so scared after his encounter he just send his death machine to gas it." I laugh having no faith in a Starker being at the end of the mine. Well probably fine ;)

Hesperus:

Nuka asks me if we have life sign detectors.

"Uh we did, or will..it needs to be rebuilt too.. we kinda hard to start from scratch after leaving the planet."

Mostly from scratch we did take a few of the more complexed morphing technologies in smaller sizes though the gate.

I think about my Spinix ship (still 'car' sized) now if I had that with me I'm sure we'd be ready for anything ; )

This mission was just for speed and quickly so it wasnt weighted down by such a heavy force.

Nuka mentions ways humans check for life, smoke fire, food.. poop.

"Let's hope its abandoned for good."

I comment before the rough landing.

The first thing I see out the window is bones.

"Oh....there was life."

Lots of ...bones..

The ground almost looked like a volcano's ash. Somepeople we're mortified in it.

The men looked at Nuka annoyed at how chipper he was compared after the rough landing then finely see it.

"I think we better start straight for the mine...the surface looks empty but someone might be inside."

I arm myself and step out into the soot.

I see signs of wheelbarrows and over turned metal railing from long ago.

Chance Meeting

Hesperus:

Huck was just ..brainwashed. He's been here TOO long. It was hard to carry on fighting with so many kids around too. Someone finely breaks and rips a hole to get back down to the planet. Out of instinct I wasnt ready to 'try' such a deadly move and hold on. Huck tries to get me in the head and I know if I black out I will be back into the cage again. I release my claws and let myself smack backwards. I beat back whatever is trying to grab me with my metal hand and felt the rush of air.

Eve could have made it but WONT leave Florabel behind. She tosses Florabel at the hole and is tied down by many sparkly ropes from Gregorian's crew. Gregorian victory jump ropes around her in tangles.

I black out from the fall screaming.
