I'm watching the princess and the frog right now because it's my favorite disney princess movie and I want to ask about your thoughts on my girls Tiana and Lottie

Excellent movie choice, dude! One of my faves too!

Tiana is a hardass, badass, independent queen! Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all. I love her growth throughout the movie. And the way her feelings for Naveen grew as the journey went on felt more natural than it does with some of the other Disney princesses. I love how tough she is, her resilience. Tiana is a force to be reckoned with, dude!

Her scene with Dr. Facilier was so intense too! You could see it, she was tempted to give in, but the way she reached her own conclusion for what was important and, then fighting back the way she did!? I was literally cheering, dude!

As for Lottie, allow me to explain why WE DO NOT SUPPORT CHARLOTTE LA BOUFF SLANDER IN THIS HOUSEHOLD!

Lottie could've very, very easily been a bad guy. Everything was set up for her in life to be the meanest, brattiest, cruelest girl in New Orleans. And she wasn't! Think about it. In the time the movie was set it, racism was abundant in Louisiana. Lottie was a rich white girl who was spoiled rotten by her dad. Yet her best friend was a black girl. She loved Tiana, was kind to her, played with her. And then later supported Tiana in her dream by paying her enough money to get her that restaurant. And then at the party, instead of getting mad at Tiana for the disaster that happened, she cleaned up Tiana and put her in that beautiful dress, dude!

And in the end when Lottie gives up her dream of marrying a prince so that Tiana could have her happily ever after? My heart was beating out of my chest, dude!!! Lottie is an icon!

If you dudes can't tell, I love The Princess and the Frog! It's in my top five Disney princess movies!
