Sorry genius but Rogue hasn’t been affiliated in a long time, we haven’t kept the vent logs, and furthermore? if a court case is being talked about in a vent channel on a discord server, that’s already a leak on the venter’s part - a violation of GDPR at that. Pick a side for christ’s sake.

Never once said that now did we. The logs were only ever caught up in the actions of an automated bot, and removed as soon as they appeared. They’re gone and have been since day 1.

there was ONE mod who was ok with it because they were buddy buddy with him

everyone else said tldr "i dont think this is a good idea but youre the boss,” thats why we had so many mods/users that left (including me until he was out)

all our links, dropboxes, and pastebins are void of the vent logs. our blogs are void of the vent logs. unless somebody outside of us or alpine saved a redundant copy of the vent logs for their own purposes, we’ve got nothing.

Ok I apologise for bringing that dumpster fire on to everyone's dash lmao, I admit I definitely had bad takes on the subject, and I'd like to say thanks to the folk that educated me on it :')

I didn't consider that just because I've found it easy to make gems without spending irl money, that others had the same experience as me. Although I have my own share of mental health problems, addiction is not one of them, and I should have been way more conscious of people who do struggle with it.

awesome! we’re on the same page now, i genuinely wish more people in general can acknowledge things like this past an argument.

and apologies for any aggression on my end, my own family has a history of addiction, so things like this.. do easily strike a cord with me. i did feel like you didn’t want to acknowledge that not all folks can easily generate gems due to personal health issues, and FR does like to prey upon that in some small ways (actually just found out the which waystone pushes gem sales to new players who have it activated too!) 

but that’s like. sorted out now.

legit I feel stupid for not realising it up until now but the fact that all the awesome stuff like eggs, scatterscrolls, permababy scrolls, shiny genes and the like are gem locked (unless you wanna fight rng for eggs and we all know what that’s like) is absolutely predatory and harmful to folk who struggle with impulsive spending. And also the fact that scatterscrolls and eggs are themselves a gamble, so a loop of spending on them -> not getting the colours you want -> spending on them again is created. I am seriously booboo the fool here.

No worries about your anger, it’s definitely justified, and I’m sorry for being an idiot about a problem that hits so close to home for you. And yeah the waystone thing? Absolutely shitty that buying gems is a prompt in it. Thanks for having the patience to keep at me until I realised I was the one in the wrong :’)

oh yeah no those being locked behind gems is one of my BIGGEST gripes because my favorite genes are on there (...wasp/bee for example. if i want a dragon with both, it’s 24 dollars!!) and i recently realized that i’ve been spending way too much on scatterscrolls because i kept picking up projects. (literally the only reason i stopped spending so much was bc my paypal got smited, as i was a minor at the time of owning it. before that happened i spent around $200 on the game.)

i wish that the admins did something about the gem:treasure ratio, i would genuinely have SO much less problems if it wasn’t 1:1130 (iirc) right now too.
