i just came out of a nearly 6 year relationship and had to change the phone bg that had remained unchanged for *years* and was struggling to find something i connected with that i would want to see every time i opened my phone until i remembered!!! of course! hexnovo!!!!

now every time i open my phone i get to see works from my fav artist and it makes me feel very happy 😊

What’s your fave colors to use in pieces? Cool or warm tones?

As of lately i enjoy using black, beige, brown and red. I do love using white gouache a lot as well.

I rarely use cool tones, if not to portray uneasiness in a piece, but I think I'm gonna be avoiding them for a while.

Hi! What does the sigil/symbol mean in the top of your memento mori piece?

Hi! That's an alternative symbol for caput mortuum, which is more commonly represented through a more or less stylized skull, and which refers to the leftover of alchemical processes. Pretty much the symbol of absolute decay. I can't find the author credited for the symbol I normally use, but looks like it could be inspired by Diderot's?
