A bit of his lore:

A former soldier. He retired after an incident, but, having connections and resources, the case was hushed up. At the time of the game’s events, he was involved in illicit arms trafficking and also worked as a bodyguard for a certain person. Eventually, that person mysteriously disappeared, and now nyen is actively searching for them, again making use of his connections.

The chances of encountering this person during a hypothetical playthrough would be 60/40 (60% that they do not meet). If they do meet, they leave the house the following night; if not, nyen stays for 3-5 days to catch his breath.

When the house is visited by FEMA, he remains untouched. If you refuse to let nyen in, he will first get angry and brandish his weapon at the protagonist, but after further dialogue he will offer a bribe. The most likely items to receive are cat food or cigarettes.

If you treat him to beer (3 cans), he will tell you why he retired. With a noticeably lower chance, he may also reveal who exactly he is searching for and why.

He would normally settle in the kitchen, but if Husband and Wife or a Theorist are already living there, he would refuse to stay with them. He appears as a Visitor at random.
