Small domestic house dragons have become the norm. Here is a guide on how to deal with the hoarding instinct of your little one.

Okay, listen. If you want to own a house dragon you need to accept the responsibility. And that includes allowing them to make their hoard. House dragons that are denied their hoarding instincts will become depressed.

Every house dragon has a different taste when it comes to hordes, and they will collect different things. When you first get your house dragon you should introduce it to the most common horde items (metals, toys, paper). Once they find something they like they'll begin to make their horde. You should begin to buy things similar to the original items they found, and you should place them around the house for your dragon to find.

If your house dragon takes something of yours try to refrain from taking it back. If you take something from its horde it will likely assume it did something wrong and that this is its punishment. If you really do need the item back, make sure to give your dragon treats and lots of love so it knows it's okay. To ensure your house dragon doesn't add anything too important to its horde, place anything you think may be a target where it can't reach (no, on top of a shelf wont work).
