hi! forgive me if this is not allowed, but i'm obsessed with your coding skills. i like to code my own skins for jcink, but i'd been on and off coding for a long time and have had to learn new styles from scratch, i'd love to learn more and progress my skills because i am never satisfied with a skin i make and ultimately, never finish sites because of it. i would just like to ask how you do the rounded effects like you have on your inter stellar skin? those previews are gorgeous, but i'm in awe about how you achieved them. i can do basic rounded illusions with before / after coding. but yours looks so complicated! is there a simple trick to it, or is it truly as complex as it appears? it's a style i want to include in my skins because i'm trying to move on from past coding styles, i feel so limited in my knowledge.

ahh thank you! it's all rounded illusions, just like you said! i'm not an expert by any means; it's all been trial and error, and there may very well be better ways to do these. i make them pseudo-elements too, and then use a mixture of box-shadow if the background is just one solid color like in the first image, or mask-image if i need it to be an accent color with lower opacity to match the container. here are some examples (made teal just so you can see them)

i also just found this generator which might be really handy! i haven't tried it yet, but it looks nifty af. i hope this helps with your skinning journey! it's a cool design element and i hope to see more of it out in the jcink world.

firstly, help idk what it's called yet! this is a skin my bestie and i used about a year ago for our sandbox site; i've had a lot of fun repurposing it for regular, non-sandbox use. it's nearly done! i have some finishing touches to do and a template set to whip up. hopefully, it'll be released this weekend! - it's very customizable; i've made variables for the little cat PNGs so they're easy to replace with your own, and separated the CSS for them so users can easily adjust their placement as necessary. this skin also features group icons, but those can be toggled off. badge sections will also disappear automatically if the site isn't utilizing them. stay tuned!

hihi, good question! in short, nay. integrating my CSS/HTML into someone else's would create a lot of issues i'm not willing to offer support for, which means my designs likely wouldn't look or function as advertised. pricing would also be difficult; i think it'd either be unfair to those buying it, or those who have already purchased the full skin.
