Today was my second day of med school orientation and things are going well. My classmates are all cool 🙂 I can't wait to get to know them better and be supporting each other in the journey thru med school.

The commute is a bit long but I'll see how it is when classes officially start and how I handle them. One issue with the area the school is in is that it's a little dangerous. There was a shooting on campus this morning just before I arrived that resulted in a man dying. I hope the man's family is okay tonight 🙁

likes are really nice, but the work someone spent hours on isnt getting seen by anyone while its languishing in your likes. nobody but you can see your likes

this site's only purpose is to blog and reblog. the likes function is nothing more than a bookmarking system. there is no algorithm, if you wanna help creators, reblog their work! no creator here is looking at their notifs and saying "wow look at all those likes!" no, they're saying "oh, look at all those likes..." its so disheartening
